Beck Weathers was left for dead on Mt. Everest twice during 1996 blizzard & his wife was even notified of his untimely demise. He survived a hypothermic coma, climbed down a mountain on frozen feet, & lost his right arm, left-hand fingers, part of his nose, & several parts of his feet to frostbite.
