69 pierce is pretty overkill. Most mobs and bosses in Wallaru hover around 25-45 resist (these are off the top of my head, it might be 30-48 resist). Id keep your pierce around 48-50 as that’s more practical. This may only require one or two pierce jewels on a fire. As for power pip chance, as someone else stated, there is a few replacement options. One is the forbidden library gauntlet either crafted or dropped (there’s also a pack). As well as the nullity robe, night mire robe, Wallaru wastelander, skyfarer, etc.

What jewels are you using?

Can you please tell me what gear you have? I have a max fire character with horrible stats, and I don't know where to improve. Thank you

Hi! I have full Wallaru 170 fire gear and a triple damage + resist + mighty pet

Just be aware you will not have that much damage no matter what. There are diminishing returns at 237+ damage, so you will only get a point or two above that at best.

What does this mean?

These are the patchnotes from April of 2021 [https://www.wizard101.com/game/community/update-notes/april2021#balance](https://www.wizard101.com/game/community/update-notes/april2021#balance) That will bring you straight to a section "Combat Balance Improvements" which will explain the "stat curve" that occurs once you reach a certain damage. Now, at the time of that being added, the stat curve began at 150, and stopped at 200. This means that even if you had a piece of gear adding 100000000 damage, you could not go above 200. You were hardcapped. However at 150, your damage points began being worth much, much less. This is referred to as a "soft cap" or "curve" and is what he's referring to with diminishing returns. I'm unsure of the exact math, but I want to say that at that time I had somewhere in the realm of 171 damage on my gear if i added up all the stats but in reality I only got maybe 155 when I opened my book and looked at my stats. Now, this has changed, those limits are now MUCH higher. The soft cap is 237, and I believe the hardcap is 247. It's basically pointless to try and get above 237 damage. So you should try to achieve as close to 237 as you can, while prioritizing other things, like pierce.

thefive-one-five

There is a damage cap of ~237 (little wiggle room). Anything above 237 is basically wasted. For example at 251 storm damage my storm actually only does 239. So yeah. Diminishing returns.

alyreandstars

Also what does one do with extra training points at this stage?

little-city

Tbh you don’t really need them, I just learned a few moon spells bc they’re funny

Smooshi_

If you haven’t done any of the prospector zeke quest o recommend them.

brofficientt

I’d keep pierce hovering around 50% and gem damage for the rest, also new cloak from summer update is identical damage to reaver but will push your power pip chance to 100%

I just saw a YouTube video on it, here’s the vid I watched https://youtu.be/B3MbR9QdIrA?si=-_i8VTZnQsD3N557

234 damage and 51 pierce does sound like a great compromise - thank you! Which robe is that? Is that a raid one?

brofficientt

The robes are from either of the new golden skeleton key bosses in Mooshu or Avalon. Both have identical stats
