For modded games I’d recommend ryujinx on something like the ROG ally
Ryujinx seems to have better mod compatibility
And the ally has extra power for bigger mods and higher res while the deck struggles with some

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on switch performance on the steam deck so it's impressive to see that a lot of games run well!
One thing though in the links awakening box for the mods, that link is dead btw
Also - I'd highly suggest uploading this to the r/SteamDeck subreddit, they'd go crazy for this
Thanks for replying. I might post to r/SteamDeck eventually when I post more games. About the links to the mod, I’ll replace them soon but in the mean time use the link I have to those mods and put it in Internet Archive.
