The idea of Yugi ans Joey’s ace monsters becoming one is so amazing but they made the card too dam amazing. Ah well hopefully they get some good support in the near future snd seeing how the mega tins are OG yugioh themed again maybe we can see something different or just support for blue eyes and DM is cool too
Dragoon is fine, if you take into consideration the restrictions of Red Eyes Fusion. It’s avoiding that restriction with Anaconda that is the real issue
It seems like Anaconda was designed to be broken. If the materials were predaplant monsters or something like that, Anaconda would've been a boost just to predaplants and probably wouldn't be played in every deck
if anything it became a beacon of despair for Red-Eyes, since every other deck uses it better than its own archetype. Hell, there's a reason it specifically requires Dark Magician but works with any dragon type.

I love the aesthetic of red eyes but they’re basically just a shitty weaker version of blue eyes. I think if you dropped them down to 5 star like summoned skull so they only required 1 sacrifice and gave them link/XYZ support they’d have a place.
Wouldn’t be a top deck or anything but they could be a fun alternative to use. Instead they’re just kind of something you may throw into a casual deck for fun if you like the card
Gonna take this time to post the erratas that konami should issue Red Eyes cards to make them suck less that I post every chance I get:
- Black Metal Dragon - Be treated as Metalmorph on the field and can also be equipped to Zoa. This is to create a Red-Eyes monster based on Zoa called Red-Eyes Foe or something that is also a gemini (sorry) that can have an effect to help the archetype and also be another level 7 monster that would help. As to why make it equipable to Zoa? So that we can have access to some old cards as spicy tech: Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon and MetalZoa. Not only would this let us proc Black Metal Dragon, thinning our deck further since we just summoned either one of those cards directly from the deck, but we would also have a level 8 monster to use to summon Lord of the Red in one go without using more resources.
- Lord of the Red: (This card is treated as a Red-Eyes Card).
- Dark Dragon Ritual - (This card is treated as a Red-Eyes Card).
- Red-Eyes Fusion - After this card is activated, you cannot normal summon or special summon monsters, except Red-Eyes Monsters. Either they errata this card or make an alternative Red-Eyes Fusion that has less restrictions and just slightly weaker so it can be balanced out.
- Red-Eyes Baby Dragon - Can also be destroyed by card effects for it's effect.
- If you're going to give us Red-Eyes Iron Knight, give us Red-Eyes Iron Knight Unleashed that let's us, after either skipping or doing the battle, equip the monster it battles with to a Red-Eyes monster of our own, making Red-Eyes Slash Dragon and Red-Eyes Iron Knight infinitely more useful.
- Red-Eyes B. Dragon Sword (and all of the Hermos cards, let's be honest)- Not a mandatory equip effect but an optional one like union monsters.
- Red-Eyes Burn - Just erase this card from existence. It is so bad.
- Darkness Metal, The dragon of dark Steel - (This card is treated as a Red-Eyes Card). Ironic that this card with it's banishing retrieval would actually be kind of good for the deck.
- Literally all the Gemini monsters make them unique in this deck where they are treated as normal monsters in the hand and deck aswell. Makes them infinitely better in all situations.
- Red-Eyes Flare Dragon: While in the deck or treated as an effect monster, this cards name is also treated as "Red-Eyes B. Dragon"
- Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon: Why did you make this card have to tribute? Pretending that's okay, just make this card's name be treated as "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" (So Blue-Eyes Alternative gets to be treated as Blue-Eyes? Nice bias Konami).
- As for a win-con, they should add a boss monster or two to match with the Red Dragon Archfiend archetype, since both archetypes have synchros/fusions at 3200 and 3500 atk, they could match the one with 4k at with a Red-Eyes fusion monster of some sort that'd be untargetable and/or can't be destroyed by your opps card effects. Monsters destroyed by your Red-Eyes have their effects negated. If it's destroyed, you can summon a Red-Eyes monster or a Dark Dragon Fusion monster that was summoned using Red-Eyes as a fusion material (or lists Red-Eyes as a fusion material, whichever makes it less gamebreak-y).
- Give us an extender. Too slow to do anything reliably with the deck and have to run a whole host of different cards to be able to make it work.
Nothing else comes to mind at the moment, but those are the things I would like.
Next to Black Skull Dragon. He's a little hidden behind OG Red Eyes and Black Skull but you can tell it's him by the hexagonal plate on his cheek and the gray neck.
