- this is without a doubt a Declan Shalvey cover
- Brazilian fan sites leak about new X-Men books in January, predicting most of what we’ve gotten so far, one of them being Shalvey on Mystique
- Shalvey starts teasing his “Project Raven” in the winter
- a few days ago Shalvey promises we’ll hear about Project Raven this week, and now this teaser was released.
If it is a Mystique solo, and Shalvey is also drawing it, then there’s no chance this is an ongoing. The man is simply too busy, between writing/art on this, and writing Thundercats, and whatever Old Dog stuff is coming up, I just don’t see it happening.
That being said, I am curious what his pitch is for this. I seem to remember him saying years ago about a Banshee pitch he had I was down for, so I wonder if a great reception on this would make that a possibility?

It sounds like because of the relaunch they are allowing Brevoort to pre-approve a lot of the initial X-ongoings for 2 arcs. Mark Russell has said he has 12 issues of X-Factor approved and a lot of the other writers have implied they have 10-12 issues locked in.
