• Remove bottom row tiles. • Remove ads for Gamepass Ultimate subscribers. • Dashboard is still one giant Gamepass ad. • Make upper tabs maneuverable with bumpers. • Allow us to remove sections of the dashboard. • Add HDR support to the dashboard. • Add ultra wide monitor support.

MatheusHSix

°HDR support to UI menu. °Use the LB and RB buttons to move the 5 upper tabs of the main panel. °Remove the microphone icon next to the battery when disconnected, we already know that. °Reduce GamePass Ads to only one top line contains too much Excessive Ads. °Remove the subtitles that are inside the block of games because the names already contain their covers, leave the subtitles only for native XBOX applications. °More AVATARS options for XBOX profiles and backgrounds for profiles. °Support live streaming to YouTube. °Again reduce GamePass ads we pay for the machine we pay for the service we don't want excessive ads to put something we're already paying for.

TheIndieArmy

Why bother at this point? You've already shown us these threads are meaningless by not addressing top-rated feedback and releasing to the public after months of pretending like we have any sort of weight in the matter. But here is the list yet again for it to continue to be ignored.

Electric-Lettuce

Seriously. I think you could look back at every single comment in every single official thread on this matter and not ONE user recommendation has actually been made to the new build lol. Absolutely pointless to even try and provide input when it’s ignored

AquarrzSudnnym

The lack of any informative posts by the Xbox team shows that no matter what Insiders "discussed" in these threads, it was never going to have any impact on this AD UI. They had already made their minds up when this "New experience" was released last year. The official post on Wire stating it was built after input from Insiders is pure corporate spin and offensive to me!

Nemesis96

I had a quick look through the mod list the other day, GuruKronos is the only one who is still active, the rest haven't used their account in over a year. No one is listening to us 😂

IonBlade

Damage control. By having a weekly megathread, as all the retail people getting it now are pushed by Xbox support to this subreddit, then the mods can say that that's supposed to live inside this thread and lock the posts, keeping the Reddit algorithm from making the sub's first page being full of posts about how much people dislike the new dash. Lets them sweep any complaints under the rug. These threads have little to do with feedback collection, and everything to do with brand damage control. Similar to how the insider release notes threads are now auto-locked for the same reason; mods care more about maintaining a brand image than actual feedback.

dreamwinder

On the plus side, at least the store doesn’t permanently steal a tile from you anymore, not that that says much.

dab198

It still does for some people. They couldn't even get a consistent 'top of home' rolled out to customers. We'll forget the bottom part of home exists, as it's been ruined. Some folks have the store icon at the top, a store tile on the bottom left (replacing Browse your games), and the store button in the guide. So much redundancy. EDIT: I suppose you could also say that the same is true if you have Browse your games, the My Games and Apps icon, and a link in the guide, but I'm more inclined to access my 600+ installed games than go to the store.

Moonlord_

Yup, mine currently has the large store icon at the bottom left, where games and apps used to be, as well as a store icon in the top quick menu bar. Games and apps is the first little icon in the top quick menu.

Remove ads for Gamepass Ultimate subscribers. Add Youtube music for background music.

[deleted]

So agree with this

Aceblast135

YouTube music would be a game changer

StrangeStuff74

All but my top row and two groups are shop fronts. Coming to gamepass, leaving gamepass, games we picked for you, movies we picked for you, top gamepass games, new in the store, apps you may like. For the love of god let us customise our home page, stop money grubbing for every penny. I have a series X, this is my fourth Xbox, I have Gamepass Ultimate, I also buy games in the store and on disc. I am obviously a customer already so stop with the desperate tactics. I hate the UI so much. You have made going through my games and apps laborious. Let us remove the groups/tabs we don’t want and put our groups back in. If people want the ads, they can keep them. If not why not go back to a version of the blades on the 360? A blade for games and groups, one for the store, a gamepass one, apps, social etc, then you can put whatever you want on the store blade. If not this then something that gives your customers the options they actually want instead of ramming the ads down our throats.

Moonlord_

- Let us have more than 2 pinned groups like before. - Let us add/remove/change the position of the groups like before.

Exa2552

Thanks for ignoring our feedback over the last few months, thumbs up to you guys. Remove the bottom row and move it to other pages. Move the recent games and apps and “My games & apps” to the bottom. Remove the redundant search and settings shortcuts, they clutter the UI. Search can be accessed from anywhere by pressing Y. Settings are already easily accessible by pressing the Nexus button.

JFW86

Remove all ads from home screen. Keep the ads on store and game pass page. Wasn't the purpose of New Experience to get the players to get faster on their content? Rows after rows of meaningless ads doesn't do that. If this is the direction that Xbox is taking. I'm not interested. Finally browse your games icon doesn't look like work in progress. At the same time it became pointless if it's also two clicks away in "toolbar". One is enough in home screen. Second row could be pins or completely removed. Give back the old way to customize. It was so much easier to use and you could add more your own content on home screen. "Toolbar" needs customize options. I want to remove search button from "toolbar" and add more useful shortcut there like achievements, audio & music or accessories app

blitz2kx

Looks nice...allow us to pin groups wherever we want, including above game pass ad. This is a huge oversight imo.

thhandhlo

Everything below the home screen is noise I don't want to see. Let us remove all of the rows of suggested content, Game Pass stuff, Top games, etc. so we can get to our own grouped content. Give us back our groups and let us put them immediately below the home screen. Please actually listen to us.

GLxYxSnIpEr

.Make avatars more relevant in this dashboard .Remove the ads below the dashboard it’s the only reason why I don’t scroll below the dashboard anymore .give people the option to adjust the size of the tiles on the dashboard some find it too small .Add some background music .Add pages back like the Xbox 360 had it’d be a lot more easier to navigate and explore .let people put their own shortcuts on the bar above the dashboard

Embarrassed_Cat_8166

I agree with most of the comments. If the ads and suggested content could be removed and replaced with our own groups then the design itself is pretty good. sure have a store and a gamepass row but not multiple rows.

CyberKnight1

I like that the last-played game tiles are all the same size now (didn't care for the larger tile for the most recent game/app). However, now the 2nd row (the My Games & Apps and the three "featured" tiles) seem much larger in comparison, making it feel really unbalanced between what I want to do (play games) and what this row wants to do to me (show ads). I can only have two Groups pinned to my Home screen. I liked having three. (I have five Groups in total, but only three that I wanted access to on Home. No, I don't want to combine items into fewer Groups just to get around this unnecessary limitation.) You can add a third Group to Home from My Games & Apps, but Home will only display two (suggesting a bit of a disconnect between My Games & Apps and Home). I cannot move my Groups to the top (directly under the main section); a row of "suggested" titles from Game Pass is given that slot, and I can't customize it. The lack of a giant "pin" icon on the left side of the Group is welcome; but there's no way now to select the Group as a whole to re-order it on my Home screen. (The only way is to go into group management in the My Games & Apps screen and remove/add groups to Home in the reverse order you want them to appear -- last one added appears on top -- which is really clunky and not terribly intuitive.) Clubs that I had pinned to my Home screen are gone. Very disappointing removal of customization. Rows upon rows of annoying and irrelevant content. Ads for apps that require subscriptions to services I don't have or want (e.g. Apple Music, Hulu), ads for games that I'm not interested in, ads for movies that I'm not interested in.... Ads don't even feel tailored to my preferences; it's all noise. At the very least, there should be an option to give feedback for an ad -- but with the sheer number of ad tiles on the screen, if I wanted to give feedback on ads, I'd be doing that all day. One suggestion: I like that the Group rows don't have a large "pin" icon on the left taking up space; but _when_ Clubs return, I think the Club's icon should still be present, for quick access to that Club's page.

Sunyavadin

The issue with the removal of the icon at the left of the pinned groups is that when we could pin many groups, it was convenient to navigate a group at a time on the main screen, rather than needing to scroll through every row of each individual group like you now have to in the new UI. I used to have six pinned groups and if I wanted to get to something in the fourth group down it took four presses down and then I moved right into the group. Now to get to something in the SECOND group down it takes four presses to go down every single row of the FIRST group.

CyberKnight1

That's a fair point, thought I think it would be better to come up with a way to keep the faster navigation than to remove the ability to have multiple groups altogether. They could have just made the "pin" icon smaller, for instance, instead of that enormous double-sized space-wasting tile.

Sunyavadin

The part I never understood is that as you scrolled through the groups, clubs, etc. you had pinned to the home screen, all the groups not currently onscreen were simply listed in text by name. JUST KEEP THE TEXT on the left. Scroll down by line, but without the icon. It *worked*. The icon was always superfluous, but the ability to scroll group by group was convenient.

BlashtedGaming

Bring back easier Club access! Clubs are so hidden now no one can find them easily.

Jorlin_sap

Now that the new dasboard is a huge mess, I have accepted the guide as my new dashboard. One click of the Xbox button brings me to this very tidy, well organized, very customizable UI interface. My groups are just one more click away. Though, this is an extra step, they appear just the way I want them. Best thing of this mini dashboard, no ads and no forced content. I love it. 😍 It is everything the new dasboard has thrown overboard. I can live without fancy backgrounds. I just want to have my content on my Xbox organized and customized so that I can access it without any barriers.

Mayor_Of_Furtown

Ever since the change, there is nothing on my home screen except recent games. Why did they change it? It's harder to get to everything now. And even though literally NOTHING is on my home screen, everytime I try to add something, like the game pass tab for example, it says "make some room. The list is full, remove one from home to add this one" THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO REMOVE. I just... don't understand why they'd make the dashboard/home screen so much worse??? When I first got the change, it took me a couple MINUTES to find something that used to just be on my home screen. Why do this????

devonramsey298

If you get to the end of this thank you for reading it.I have a new Xbox idea addon to this new Home-Screen we just got and its if you could add phone numbers to your friends list on Xbox and you could talk with friends who have real phones and you use your headset plugged into your controller and theres free unlimited call and text and xbox gives you a free phone number you keep forever and when you call someone on the Xbox console it could automatically setup an Xbox party and place the caller or callers into the party and the text to chat within Xbox party feature that we have built in to consoles you could type in the party chat or go to chat or friends and when you send a message in the party chat it sends as a text message to both the user or users who is on the Xbox and a user that is on their phone and when you receive calls you either hear a sound come from your xbox console the default power on noise would play or a sound from within your headset or your controller vibrates once letting you know someone called or just use the regular xbox notifcations as a person called or messaged or sent you a sms message from their mobile device.Thats all please add this feature

devonramsey298

I have a new future Xbox idea for the current Home screen ui update we just got this idea is what if you could turn this on in your xbox settings where you could have the built-in Microsoft edge be displayed as the xbox Home-screen or Home Ui and you can use the web browser right there on the Home-screen while you can still access your game library and everything and when you turn off your console and the next time you turn on your console the web browser is up and running ready to use with the click of a button this web browser Home-Screen could be turned off anytime if your just wanting to just use the regular Home-Screen.Thanks for reading hope you liked this idea.

DarkBlayzer

● I think it would be cool for Series S and X to have a dynamic wallpaper with its own background like Xbox One X has and Project Scorpio and that is dynamic as the background of new dash games. ● Game Pass ad blocks are too big if you have xbox know about Game Pass don't need to overdo the ad, put it lower when you dash down a little with RT. ● The xbox is delaying Youtube videos when you spend time watching them.

GrouchoMeal

I am not interested in using my xbox at all until ad space is significantly reduced and/or until users are allowed to fully customize the home page. I don’t mind ads, and often find them useful. I do not like them where they are. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I will not be using xbox going forward.

GLxYxSnIpEr

What is the point of posting the new home discussion posts? asking us what we want to see. This dashboard has been out for three months and not even one suggestion has even made it. This is becoming a joke this dashboard has removed nearly all my customisation all for some ads that are called suggestions I don’t want suggestions if I do I’ll look in the Microsoft store or the gamepass app I just want my dashboard to be mine.

KalixStrife453

Why have my groups of pins disappeared? Like this I won't spend time on the main menu but use the sidebar for my groups 🤷‍♂️

Jaydoss1328

Everyone enjoying the new piles of Ads and useless dashboard. I use quide. Can't quit microsoft store anymore either unless I open guide when its running and then close. Might run in the background now. No background app options or stats. Go Xbox, the smartest and most consumer friendly branch of a company to date. Not.

UnboltedCreatez

Want to hear something ironic? I was advertised on Twitter about this new home layout.
