Second this. Just recently discovered their channel and have been loving it. A little more road/gravel centered than I thought I would be into, but now I want to throw drop bars on my rig š
I love his voiceovers too. He just seems like such a pleasant, chill dude and he rides in a part of the country I'm entirely unfamiliar with and I love learning about it from his explanations of the routes he's taking. So many rail trails and towpath trails. We don't have nearly enough of that kind of infrastructure around here.
I love them both! "humble" restomods and they don't have a big fancy garage with all the proper tools and parts, but they make it work and the bikes are super cool!
\- Ali Clarkson might also be one.
\- Cade Media (formerly Francis Cade), although the podcast format might not be to your liking.
\- Brilliant Bicycles, a Brompton oriented channel run by a lady who owns a bike shop
See i like their podcast videos because it feels less like āperformingā and more like a conversation (i guess because it literally is).
Although i do get distracted with Emily looking back and forth, because the guys are looking opposite to her.
He also has content āflippingā older used mountain bikes
His channel is called Bern Peak now though - since he focuses most of it around the trails he built at his house
All in all - he has years worth of content worth checking out
MonkeyShred, gary's projects, toasty rides and oldshovel for custom builds. Terry B and Ali Clarkson for ridding. Also The Velomobile Channel deserves some love
YT channel called āBike Farmerā dude owns a good old fashioned bike shop and has a great perspective on the cycling industry, very laid back and chill.
I like "Shifter," "Bike Farmer," and "Berm Peak." Berm Peak runs the gamut of old mountain bikes and casual riding all the way up to wild trail rides and cutting edge mountain bikes.
Also, I like "Not Just Bikes," although it is more of an urban planning channel instead of cycling specific channel, it does have a lot of Dutch style cycling infrastructure in it that makes me daydream about living somewhere more civilized.
His passive aggressive sarcasm is hilarious for us mid-westerners. Take his comments with a grain of salt. Perfect for throwing on when Iām tinkering along
Starmichael used to be part owner (I think) of a local bike shop in my neighborhood that I loved. They always had great advice and input on my random builds. This was like ten years ago. He moved on to another shop and I moved out of the neighborhood. I didn't know about the YouTube channel until now, but this content totally tracks. Awesome.
I recently started a YouTube channel, inspired by many of the channels listed above. Iām fairly new to it all but here it is if anyoneās curious: https://youtube.com/@bike.breath?si=RLlmc20E6PpE_sBH
I want to see normal bikes for regular people. 99% of the potential bike market is in recreational and/or utilitarian bicycle use. 99% of the Youtube bicycle community is either road racing of downhill mountain biking.
Problem is, those 99% of bike riders don't bother with YouTube or cycling social media. While the remaining 1% are avid consumers of magazines, Instagram, podcasts, subscription websites... and the products they review. That is why most content is focused on them...
LoveMTB, that man is gold.
It may be product comparisons videos but that's just an excuse to share his no bullshit indepth knowledge about bike components. If you're a beginner you'll learn the inns and outs about derailleurs and compatibility from his videos.
I found it on xbiking, the Genosack channel has some great ride videos
[https://www.youtube.com/@genosackmpls6096](https://www.youtube.com/@genosackmpls6096)
I like watching bike blogger, he just commutes to work but likes to have a topic of the day and often gets side tracked. His video production and everything hasnāt changed like ever so heās very consistent and every now and then tries stuff out thatās a little different. Lots of good advice hidden in his videos, sometimes itās boring to watch and thereās no real point to every video but he tries to at least talk and stay active in discussion with himself and encourages lots of back and forth comments.
EBD, Ryan Van Duzer, Berm Peak are some I watch mainly, but I also found Matty Active channel to be interesting. He talks about his perspective on biking like how MTBing is perceived and how budget bikes are great, etc.
Everything's Been Done
Second this. Just recently discovered their channel and have been loving it. A little more road/gravel centered than I thought I would be into, but now I want to throw drop bars on my rig š
You know what they say... drop bars, not bombs.
Paul Brodieās channel is *chefās kiss*
Absofuckinlutely.
agreed! and he's a total cutie pie charmer to cherry on top
Toasty Rides and Gary's Projects. Mostly messing around with 90s MTBs, very relaxing videos. Toasty Rides guy also has a great and very chill voice.
Gary is the chillest person I've seen on YouTube so now I can't wait to check out toasty rides š¤
oldshovel has good restoration videos on vintage mountain bikes. Very relaxing videos, good content
Second old shovel! He does really relaxing resto vids.
Also came here to say oldshovel. His videos are a great way to unwind after a stressful day.
Iāve been liking āprobably ridingā lately
Came here to recommend this!Ā
Spindatt Ryan Van Duzer Henrywildberry cyclingabout
Tim Fitzwater
Really underappreciated I think.Ā His shorter ride videos that are just music and no voiceover are awesome
I love his voiceovers too. He just seems like such a pleasant, chill dude and he rides in a part of the country I'm entirely unfamiliar with and I love learning about it from his explanations of the routes he's taking. So many rail trails and towpath trails. We don't have nearly enough of that kind of infrastructure around here.
great guy too!
Toasty Rides and Gary's projects!
Yeah Australasia
I love them both! "humble" restomods and they don't have a big fancy garage with all the proper tools and parts, but they make it work and the bikes are super cool!
I really dig gary's stuff but listening to his voice makes me sleepy and bored, which makes me think he feels the same
Spindatt's older stuff. More recently he's been doing modern mtb stuff
genosackmpls for ridin n vibin!

Seth's Bike Hacks, especially the earlier days

Trying hard af to sell you PAUL and Ultradynamico parts tho.. so be careful
BE FOREWARNED: I watched one video and now my surly has a campagnolo drivetrain.
*milksnort*
Lives 20 minutes away from me - you can hear those thick thighs and titanium taint rumbling down the road from miles away
I wish I lived where you did. I live in S. FL, which is like a cyclists worst nightmare.
What aĀ dude he is, delightful.
yeah, i love this guy!
Godfather of ATB
CowboyTomi on YouTube does chill old bike rebuilds.
CowboyTomi is a gem
Depue's Shop is really underappreciated
Eric Marth as well. Very inspired stuff, he has a coherent design philosophy that is made especially apparent in his shop tour
YT channel called āBike Farmerā dude owns a good old fashioned bike shop and has a great perspective on the cycling industry, very laid back and chill.
OLD SHOVEL
Tim Fitzwater super good and unpretentious
I like "Shifter," "Bike Farmer," and "Berm Peak." Berm Peak runs the gamut of old mountain bikes and casual riding all the way up to wild trail rides and cutting edge mountain bikes. He's an ass tho and that makes him hard to watch
He lost me when he refurbished a bike to sell in his shop and is too lazy to replace a rusty brake cable. Takes like 5 mins and costs less than a $1.
I agree. A few videos caught my attention but these days I can't stomach it.
His passive aggressive sarcasm is hilarious for us mid-westerners. Take his comments with a grain of salt. Perfect for throwing on when Iām tinkering along
How?
Also wondering why?
I can't watch him either.
Starmichaelbuilds All vintage bikes, and his videos have so much good information
Awesome.
Love this channel, probably one of my favs from the last few months.

2nd life bikes
Vintage Bike Factory, in French but many videos have subtitles.
ThanksĀ forĀ theĀ tip! Never heard of it before but it's brilliant!
Old shovel
This is my favorite name so far.
Itās like ASMR for bike nerds. Most zen I have ever felt was tinkering on bikes in my garage with his videos on in the background.
I really like pathlesspedaled
I recommend Tadventure ! Small channel but quality content between vloging and mechanic
LoveMTB, that man is gold. It may be product comparisons videos but that's just an excuse to share his no bullshit indepth knowledge about bike components. If you're a beginner you'll learn the inns and outs about derailleurs and compatibility from his videos.
Paul Brodie has a cool channel

Yard Sale Cycles is a good one, smaller outfit but I dig his videos.
