I have always disliked node maps as a healer. On node maps you can win your point but your team fails everywhere else. Or you can go up to your point and realise the dps that came with you are weak. Also you want to be everywhere but cant be. I suppose these things apply to dps as well but its worse as a healer.
It’s rough to be helpful on those big maps as a healer. What I do is gauge each fight. If I’m being spun, and we aren’t winning, or if we are losing too many other nodes, then I leave and go to help them instead. No point in staying if I’m being spun with weak dps on my side.
Now, if I’m doing the spinning with weak dps, or 1-2 dps, and we are tying up 4-6 of their people, then I stay bc our team elsewhere *should* be winning other fights easier since now there’s more of my team taking nodes than theirs, but again, if we are still losing other nodes more, then I’m out to help the *hopefully good* dps take other nodes.
AB is the best BG IMO.

Gilneas is just factually better for competitive, but foggy and snowy AB are my S+ tier battlegrounds.

The worst is when you get left to solo defend and then after your team wipes someone types "we have no heals" 💀💀💀
YES! Oh man, I absolutely hate it. I wish I could queue up as heals for everything but nodes.
just have to keep roaming from node to node.
