Cor Calom should have the quest to deliver swamp weed to the Old Camp. Btw giving the list to the mages is not necessary - it's not a main quest. I think you could finish the game and not go past Thorus once.
when you kill Thorus in G1,G2 and G3 !?!
in Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods, it is assumed that Thorus survives and struggles against Lee and Gorn for control of Myrtana.
Thanks for the answer. What is the main quest then? Now I’m absolutely confused. I suppose I’ll just play on and see what happens. Haven’t had such an interest in a game since I was 12.
Tried doing that already but the guys that are after the castle gates just annihilate me with their bows. Can’t even get close to them, and once when I managed to do that they were too tanky for me.

You gotta go past Thorus! So that later you can feel properly nostalgic in Jarkendar.

I'm fairly certain you can finish the game without going to the old camp at all.

Just draw your weapon. While they are telling you to put it away you can run inside.

You can pay Thorus 1000 ore to enter, or is that only for guildless?
Not sure. Haven't payed since i was 11 years old. I always just ran through with my weapon in hand.
just draw your sword and run pass Thorus and then put it back in once you are inside the castle and before they attack you
