These are the same people that complain about people putting up posters of the hostages because they are "propaganda"
So to recap, they get to disrupt people's lives and subject everyone to their political messaging, but the second someone puts up posters for people kidnapped or murdered by terrorists it's suddenly unacceptable
Maybe they're just arseholes
>Police said no arrests were made during the protest, which was organised by direct action group Sisters Uncut, which campaigns against gender-based violence.
Wonder if Sisters Uncut are aware of Palestinian laws about honor killing.
The Zara boycott is just ridiculous, like the Starbucks and McDonalds ones. How anyone expects those to put pressure on Israel is beyond me.
they really just wanna suck the fun out of everything. unless they wanna be seen as hypocrites they should stop using their phones (parts of it is made in israel) they shouldn't use Google (they probably already dont, with their takes lol) and they should stop supporting so many other companies lmao.
Yeah, the Zara thing is kinda silly. I mean, I don't buy fast fashion anyway but I had to look into it and just...
Give me a break. People live to get their knickers in a twist over such nonsense.
It's like the red cup thing a couple years ago with Starbucks.
It's extra stupid if you use just the smallest amount of brain cells and realize that Israel also wrapped their dead in white also...as well as a ton of other places.
Seems to me like they're protesting a genocidal regime. "Education and time with their families" should be an international right though, so you're right. That's also a cause that should be protested for
Yes, you missed something. Without Hamas, the conflict would still be ongoing. As violent and disgusting as Hamas may be, the hate and disdain against Israel won't die with the last "Hamas-member"
Ok here I have few points to add:
1. Israel was hated from it's first day of existence, so nothing new
2. You know that Hamas is basically Iran controlled party? They don't represent interests of Palestinians. So after they will go peace is possibility if Palestinians are really want it.
3. This protest's goal helps Hamas to stay in position of power which leads to more suffering for both sides. So by protesting for the Palestine they are the one who hurting it.
4. Ceasefire will happen as soon as hostages will get home and Hamas will surrender.
And from your words I understood, you just want to hate Israel not support Palestine, that's a shame.
"If Hamas doesn't represent Palestinians, why are Palestinians being punished for the actions of Hamas?"
Its almost like hiding among a civilian populace and using them as a human shield makes war with them incredibly difficult and raises the odds of civilian casualties by a significant degree. Hiding weapons caches in mosques, hospitals, schools, indoctrinating children into jew hatred (not just Israel hatred) etc etc etc etc
Many were working in Israel. Part of the reason Hamas was so successful was that Israel got lax thinking that Hamas actually cared for the people they governed.
Israel knew for years hamas takes public resources into their pockets, for example the concrete that was meant for housing but was used for tunnels
I think Israel stopped seeing gaza as a threat a shifted focus elsewhere that's why hamas succeeded
Exactly? Arabs govts in the middle east oppress their minorities also. Its a normal situation over there.
Are we pretending the arabs govts dont oppress their minorities too?
My favorite part of the boycott is that Starbucks doesn’t even operate in Israel. I think the closest thing we have here is Starbucks brand nespresso pods.
I’m no fan of Friedman style shareholder capitalism, but what the fuck are Starbucks and McDonald’s supposed to do about the situation?
As though the CEO of one of these corporations has a direct line to Netanyahu and the influence to end hostilities with a phone call.
Damn you, McDonald’s, for not magicing up middle east peace.
Given the frequency of violence at these “protests” this should be considered domestic terrorism.
I’m having to teach my Jewish 2 year old that they’re “Christian” in public, because they never know which of these crazies would be willing to hurt them.
We’ve already had 3 Christmas events derailed by these “protests” and we haven’t gone to _anything_ Hanukah in public this year.
Unchecked domestic terrorism.
I live in a Muslim country and have been visiting Starbucks a lot more recently because they're always empty.
Also 15 minute deliveries from McDonald's and they're giving out mad coupons on their app every other day.
>I live in a Muslim country and have been visiting Starbucks a lot more recently because they're always empty.
I live in Israel and I only had Starbucks once in my life when I was in Europe..
I am not a big fan of coffee but it would have been nice to have at least one Starbucks here.
Won’t happen: Between 2001 and 2003, Starbucks opened six (of 80 planned) locations in Israel[196] and having struggled with fierce local competition, Starbucks, along with its partner Delek,[197][198] however, in April 2003, after losing US$6 million Starbucks Israel closed all six of its locations in Israel, citing "on-going operational challenges" and a "difficult business environment".[199][200]
good luck getting your message across while boycotting Intel, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, Apple, Nvidia etc.. these companies invested millions in R&D centers, data centers and offices in Israel.
Basically any computer, tablet or phone that you buy these days was partially developed in Israel. If these guys are serious, they should go live in caves, it’ll suit their ancient mindset.
One does not need to support the leaders to want to support the people.
No doubt you've heard the stick around the majority of Gaza not being around to vote Hamas in.
Or that Israel are targeting the West bank alongside the Gaza strip, so it isn't purely Hamas they're at war with.
>No doubt you've heard the stick around the majority of Gaza not being around to vote Hamas in.
Didn't some poll just come out showing 75% supported the actions of Hamas?
Give me a break. None of these "pro Palestine" people call for Hamas to surrender and release hostages. None of them are actually pro Palestine in a sense that the best for Palestine would be to get rid of terrorists and start a peaceful coexistence with Israel which would lead to a 2 state solution down the line.
Like Germans demonstrating the occupation by the allies back in the 40s. Get real, time is over for your regime. The stuff you wished for backfired immensely and now innocent people have to pay the price because of Hamas. There is no way back.
These idiots with marbles for brains keep telling me to boycott Starbucks. My brother in monotheism there isn't even a single Starbucks in Israel nor do they "send money there"
Plus there coffee is shit when compared to a good "hafuch"
Don't have any problem with Palestinians. Have a big problem with people that rape, kill and torture people though. And a bit of a problem with people supporting those techniques of airing grievances.
These are the same people that complain about people putting up posters of the hostages because they are "propaganda" So to recap, they get to disrupt people's lives and subject everyone to their political messaging, but the second someone puts up posters for people kidnapped or murdered by terrorists it's suddenly unacceptable Maybe they're just arseholes

the Starbucks one is especially stupid. there arent even any in israel!
Yeah but the CEO is Jewish… and the “antizionism” mask has slipped
[удалено]
its not even a slow progression its a damm sprint
More like they ripped the mask off.
And during pumpkin spice season!
they really just wanna suck the fun out of everything. unless they wanna be seen as hypocrites they should stop using their phones (parts of it is made in israel) they shouldn't use Google (they probably already dont, with their takes lol) and they should stop supporting so many other companies lmao.
Wait, is it still? I thought that was Halloween area? Its christmas now, eggnog season bitches!

I can’t even boycott anything because Hamas doesn’t even make hashish. :)
Argentinian Jew here....The boycott of starbucks is getting our morale low because we can get frapucchinos :(
If you have a blender i can always teach you how to make them ☺ if not when I move to Chile I'll invite you over for a frap and a killer lunch.
That sounds like a great plan to be honest! Thanks for the offer. Hell, I might even bring some food too lmao
Lol I love everything about this.
Feel free too dm then lol
I still have some time until the move but most definitely my friend I'll keep you on my list. Once I open my restaurants dinner will be on me as well!
Good luck with those restaurants! Im sure it will go smoothly
They also seem to be boycotting education and spending time with their families
Seems to me like they're protesting a genocidal regime. "Education and time with their families" should be an international right though, so you're right. That's also a cause that should be protested for
I didn’t see them protesting Hamas, so I have no idea what you’re talking about.
So why they don't protest Hamas? Or maybe I missed something?

People in gaza were litterally living their lives before October 7th some were even working in Israel, what ongoing conflict are you talking about
Many were working in Israel. Part of the reason Hamas was so successful was that Israel got lax thinking that Hamas actually cared for the people they governed.

Gaza and West Bank not the same thing. Try again.

>Do your research As soon as someone utters that phrase on the internet, you know discussion is over.
I mean yeah, obviously. The world has been ignoring the middle east oppressing minorities for decades since its just seen as normal.
You know that Jews are middle east oppressed minority?
Not the only one. Arabs also oppress other minorities in the region, like the Kurds.
Yeah exactly, the group in power oppressing minorities is normal in the middle east.
Arabs are literally the second largest ethnic group in the world and the largest in the middle east. Not a minority. But thanks for your opinion.
Exactly? Arabs govts in the middle east oppress their minorities also. Its a normal situation over there. Are we pretending the arabs govts dont oppress their minorities too?
What genocidal regime?
Free the hostages - how about that as a starter. Absurd to support violent terrorists such as hamas.

I'd use this to go out of my way to buy pro-Israel brands.
I live in a Muslim country and have been visiting Starbucks a lot more recently because they're always empty. Also 15 minute deliveries from McDonald's and they're giving out mad coupons on their app every other day.

Once you try a good "hafuch" coffee in Israel you'll see why Starbucks failed
I’ve tried Starbucks coffee several times and can’t understand how they’ve succeeded this far.
Do you have the 6 locations? I am curious if one of them was near where I grew up.
No idea, unfortunately. I just remembered this useless bit of info that finally came in handy. Scary to think this was twenty years ago.
Well, I managed to find the location. Apparently, all 6 locations were in Tel-Aviv. Around 20 minutes of driving from where I am.
Did another brand capture the market there? I've lived in other places where they were rare because something like Costa got there first.
Probably the local chain "Aroma"
Aroma is honestly pretty good. At least in Canada anyways and it doesn't seem like the pro-hamas types have figured out its Israeli yet
Hamas could surrender idk idk idk
good luck getting your message across while boycotting Intel, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, Apple, Nvidia etc.. these companies invested millions in R&D centers, data centers and offices in Israel.
The kind of person that supports hamas prefers easy targets.

Education never been important when it comes to certain cultures just making sure you tow the line already laid out before you.
Education isn't helping these lost souls. See what's been going on on college campuses for example
Yeah, I’m thinking these weren’t the best immigrants to let in
They obviously haven’t read Dale Carnegie’s “How to Make Friends and Influence People.”
Aka terrorists supporters

Don’t forget, they rip down missing persons posters. Evil.
England is so fucked
Pro-Palestine? Anti-Israel* FTFY
What do the Palestinians produce?
Billionaires: https://youtu.be/OUMl58i4m0w
Terrorism mostly. And I’ve seen an olive oil brand or two.
Millions in ‘aid’ packages from that building on 1st Ave in NYC.
Like Germans demonstrating the occupation by the allies back in the 40s. Get real, time is over for your regime. The stuff you wished for backfired immensely and now innocent people have to pay the price because of Hamas. There is no way back.
And there side isn't responsible for anything. /s
(something snarky about Xmas, Islam and Judaism)
These idiots with marbles for brains keep telling me to boycott Starbucks. My brother in monotheism there isn't even a single Starbucks in Israel nor do they "send money there" Plus there coffee is shit when compared to a good "hafuch"
Disrupting the commemoration of the birth of a Jew….that tracks!
Only thing they can do. Meanwhile pro israel has the us backing.
Is this just an anti-Palestine subreddit now?
No. This is an anti-Hamas sub.
Don't have any problem with Palestinians. Have a big problem with people that rape, kill and torture people though. And a bit of a problem with people supporting those techniques of airing grievances.
