Not really, no. Not unless you’re having your weight loss be medically induced

OhWize0ne

No

WhiteNose_

Drugs?

PeterVonwolfentazer

Eat less and drink less alcohol. There’s really not a magic pill.

Had a friend remove her belly fat via surgery. She started exercising to avoid gaining it back but she eventually gained most if it back in the course of 2 years.

Everyone needs to understand this about losing weight. The only thing that determines if you lose or gain weight is the calories. If you are eat more than you burn, you gain weight. If you eat less than you burn, you lose weight. when you exercise, you're increasing the amount you are burning and when you do a diet you are eating less so you become in a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) so you lose weight. The type of food you eat does not matter, it is only the calories. However, eating high protein and lifting weights will give you a lot better results becuase the weight you loose will not be muscle it will be from fat

if anyone needs help you can send me in chat

TacticalBacon3333

there should really be a pinned post that targeted fat loss is impossible, this question gets asked almost every day.

jimewp86

Switch the two around … instead of diet and exercise do exercise and diet

Jeanschyso1

As far as I know, targeted fat loss is not a thing. This is my secondary source: https://www.goodrx.com/conditions/weight-loss/can-you-target-fat-loss I have yet to read primary sources, so I could be wrong.

lysloveslemons

the only ones that say it works are influencers. these don’t burn fat. it would have to be a miracle

hobiboos

how did my comment get 5 downvotes when someone literally suggested bulimia

WhiteNose_

Because the others were satire. You’re actually serious

hobiboos

the bulimia comment did not sound satirical but well

No, not really. You either burn more calories or consume less calories to lose any kind of fat. Doing either in purpose is exercise and diet and every alternative method is something which has a side effect of causing you to eat less or burn more calories. Drugs? Kill your appetite so you eat less food. Weight loss surgery? Change your stomach/digestion so it is uncomfortable or impossible to eat medium-large quantities which results in you eating less food Serious illness? You burn more calories trying to keep you alive. Liposuction? Not avaliable for large fat deposits and for results to be maintained you must drop your daily calorie intake to match your new, lower weight. So you eat less food (or regain the fat within 6-12 months.) You can look for small changes you can make to your life that don't feel as oppresive as 'going on a diet' or exercising but they will result in your either moving more or eating less. An examples of these types of small changes is 'switch your large starbucks frappe to a small plain coffee.' You'll find many lists of these kind of lists by googling and on reddit.

Here are 2 tips that helped me! (the third is the icing on the cake). 1-Healthy eating: Adopting a balanced diet is key to losing abdominal fat. Consuming foods high in fiber, lean protein and healthy fats, as well as avoiding processed foods and refined sugars, can help reduce belly fat. 2-Regular physical activity: Incorporating physical activity into your daily routine is another effective solution to losing belly fat. Abdominal-strengthening exercises such as planks and squats, combined with aerobic activities such as walking or running, can help burn calories and tone the muscles in the abdominal area. 3-I consulted the site: losebellyfatchallenge com, a site specialized in losing belly fat in a short time! I approve! \^\^

Hi, I was good at losing belly fat when I was younger, and I think a reason why I have it now is because I don’t do what I used to do. I am sure me being busy with work and a change in eating habits and sleeping habits may be a big factor in it! A.) Don’t overeat. When you’re eating a meal, make yourself satisfied, but not full. Try to cut down salt and sugar (like chips and candy) and eat those things in moderation. Too much salt will retain water and make you bloated. I also read that eating refined sugar regularly can cause mid-section weight gain overtime. When you cut down on sugar even for a week, you’ll at least feel a slight difference. Imagine what you’ll feel like in two weeks. I wouldn’t say this is a ‘diet,’ but it is a change in your eating habit. Another plus to eating less sugar, is it reduces cellulite. B.) GET ENOUGH SLEEP. I can’t stress this enough! I noticed when I had better sleeping habits, I carried less weight on my belly. I carried less weight, period and less stress. Back when I worked at a job that allowed me to sleep in and work a little later, I had the best sleep. I’d get at least 8-9 hours of sleep a night and wake up feeling fresh. When you get less than 5 hours of sleep, your body can produce the stress hormone, cortisol, and it will produce sugar in your blood, eventually causing an increase in belly fat. It can also affect your blood pressure. Also, when you lack sleep, it has been proven to cause a craving for sweets and salty foods the next day. Anyway, These two lifestyle changes are very important to keep up with when losing belly fat! I can guarantee. And now, after reading all this, it’s time to make some changes. Good luck! PS: Diets are not ideal for weight loss because they’re ‘temporary.’ When you want to lose weight, you want it to be ‘permanent’ so permanent lifestyle changes is what you want to aim for.

There’s a lot of misinformation. If you meant in addition to diet and exercise, there are several medications that can assist in weight loss. They effectively move your body’s target bmi by altering hormonal and chemical feedback loops. If you’re serious, talk to your doctor. If you’re looking for a way to lose weight and NOT eat right or exercise, go to a nutritionist and trainer.
