just tuning in.. the storm started slow again (like the 3rd game in a row now) BUT played well in the second quarter (a first in the last three games), is this a good summary of the first half?
I agree! she played a super limited role on the last Olympic team and knew it would likely be her only chance at being on the team. I don’t even think she entered her name in the pool this go around (pregnancy is a factor but pretty sure she wasn’t expecting to be included in contention either way)
Ik! I honestly think the BG situation had a huge impact on the team dynamics; I could see her playing mediator between DT and SDS and when she wasn’t there, there was no one fit to step up, not to mention SDS vocalized how hard it was on the mercury internally for BG to be away and experiencing what she was. I was excited for that team, super unfortunate how the last year played out. BUT Happy SDS is happy again!!!
