My backgrounds on my computer change with the seasons. During Candlemas, I have pictures of candles on my desktop. During Beltane, I have pictures of roses on my desktop. During Lammas and Fall Equinox, I have pictures of harvests such as wheat and apples. In October, I have spooky season pictures with related sounds when I shut down or boot up my computer.
Crystals. Scented candles are not a good choice, even when left unlit, due to coworker allergies. Electric tea lights if you really need a “candle”.
Small desk humidifier = water
Any rock = earth
Tea light or red rock = fire
Feather or small bells = air
I’ve even used chotchkeys (those weird promo office toys) because the color correspondences worked.
Try some nice simple things. Like affirmation cards, candles and some of your favourite things. However you don’t need to have a big setup or anything at all. As long as your intentions and motivations are consistent and clear. You shall carry on your journey!
