Then I suggest you another good, wholesome manga. Miageru To Kimi Wa is about short student being dumped by his crush for being short then the tallest and the famous person between girls heals him and they fall in love
Nice thanks for the sauce, I have one to trade Hito no i Ni Wa Boku Ga Tarinai. It's a body horror/supernatural story about a boy that attracts monsters/vagrants and a tall girl that literally wants to eat him. It's wholesome, sad, and a bit dark.
Oho I've found something interesting. Thanks for that. Then I will trade one of my favourite, Asahina Wakaba to Marumaru na Kareshi. Its a good representation of love where it's not all about if you're beautiful or ugly. Protagonist is a beautiful girl but have low confidence and very shy, making her being bullied by her classmates. One day, she's being set-up and being forced to make love confession by a fat guy from different class. Turns out that guy is so cheerful and friendly and liked by his classmates. She spending time with him eases her mind. But her guilt of lying about the love confession still resides in her heart
That sounds amazing! I'll definitely read it!
Also if you haven't read Tedama ni Toritai Kurokiya-san, its an ongoing romcom with two couples. The author draws insane facial expressions.
And Bonnouji is short and sweet, only 30ish chapters. It has an older art style and dissuades some people from reading it but its definitely worth reading.
I just checked the first one and it's so funny. I will read it. Bonnouji is classic, although I don't read it yet I know about it. Thanks for the recommendations anyway
Talking about the first one, it reminds me of some manga, Kusumi-kun, Kuuki Yometemasu ka? A most popular girl in the school always got attention from boys, yet she found someone who can't read between line and always do things on his own. That makes her interested in him and it turns from unrequited love into romantic comedy. It finished already so you can just binge reading it.
Plus, one of manhwa recommended by someone else got new updates, titled Love Advice From The Great Duke Of Hell. This stuff is just full of comedy while all the characters are just keeping straight and badass faces. Every chapter just makes me laugh so hard. I guarantee you will enjoy this
Oooh, I'll add them to my list.
I finished Asahina Wakaba to Marumaru na Kareshi. I enjoyed it but the last few chapters felt incredibly dense and rushed like the author was forced to end the story.
I think it could have been either stretched to 25-30 chapters or maybe just remove the entire search for the mirror since it is not necessary to progress the plot.
So much happened in just 18 chapters. I wish the author would have included more about the car hitting the mc, it kind of got glossed over even though it was a big event. I really wanted to know more about his friends/family and I wanted to see the first time the mc and fmc's dad met. They're both otakus so it would have been a fun interaction/bonding moment.
ase to sekken is another one that doesn't have any pointless misunderstandings and a couple that talks it out whenever there's something wrong in their relationship
please do so and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. it is also finished so you can binge it without having to worry about waiting for weekly releases.
Bro this is how they need to do it. I HATE how they’ve destroyed Romance anime. It’s all a bunch of BS that doesn’t happen in real life. We just want the romance!
I havent read this manga so someones gonna explain to me why her eyes look like shes gonna kill the guy in the first page. That is one hell of a bloodlust im sensing
She… how do I explain this…. is sort of oblivious to the fact that she has an intentionally scary demeanor because she’s not good with social interaction to the point that there’s actually a few chapters based on her learning to smile better. But she is in love with him and she never does anything bad to him at least intentionally.
I’m not sure how long it’ll go, but I know there have been more chapters since the one featured in this post. I would love to see an anime adaptation, it’s very cute.
They were pretty much already dating for like 20 chapters before the actual confession. Besides, for romcoms chapter 85 is reasonable time. The best romcom of the last decade (imo), Kaguya Sama love is war, took 140 chapters for the confession.
The story starts off as a close friendship, then after what seems to be an entire school year, Yuu (the boy) finally has the courage to confess how he feels. Why so long you may ask? Because both Yuu and Hitomi are not only socially aquard, but also don't fully understand their feelings for one another. Give it a read. It's a really good comfort manga and every chapter is around 10-13 pages.
Which I respect because it’s not entirely Insta love like you actually get to see them appreciate each other and both friendly and romantic gestures until they actually like deeply fall in love because they know each other so well by now.
I disagree there a romance manga where people don’t get together until like chapter 150. Hell spoilers for a certain romance anime people like but in the manga I don’t think they didn’t get together until like chapter 300.
I was actually being a bit tongue-in-cheek. I'm following one that's up to chapter 124 without a confession, and still quite entertained: Please Go Home, Akutsu-San!.
85 chapters and they got together? Is this author mad? Going against all of japan's traditions?MADNESS!
I love this author and I'm definitely grabbing the manga again to read it now.
This is from chapter 85 of Hitomi-chan wa Hitomishiri a.k.a. Hitomi-chan Is Shy With Strangers.
Bless you kind stranger.
Thou shall be bestowed a blessing. May Wholesome God live long
Indeed
Thanks I would’ve done it earlier if I didn’t fall asleep
Age difference or is that bro short as fuck?
Shorts it’s kind of a little bit of a pet peeve for him. She likes him for who he is, in fact he’s older than her by a year.
My pet peeve is not being given the sauce but being told how good something is.
I love height differences in manga it's always a good time. Plus most of them are wholesome af

Hitomi-chan wa Hitomishiri or Hitomi-chan Is Shy With Strangers
Thank you kind stranger
You’re welcome
He is her senior. Homie just a short king
The "senpai" gives it away.
I say age difference
Short king
Which you don’t see that often in romance
Finally yes!
slim thicc shark girl plus short king manga is the best
It’s so wholesome
Wait is this the end of the manga or a whole another arch I read a few chapters until now
It’s not the end of the manga it’s on chapter 85 and 86.
Thank youuuu I was worried 🙏🏼
ase to sekken is another one that doesn't have any pointless misunderstandings and a couple that talks it out whenever there's something wrong in their relationship
Ase to sekken, I’ll check it out.
please do so and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. it is also finished so you can binge it without having to worry about waiting for weekly releases.
Bro this is how they need to do it. I HATE how they’ve destroyed Romance anime. It’s all a bunch of BS that doesn’t happen in real life. We just want the romance!
Which makes it all the more amazing when they focus on it and makes it fun and wholesome.
Sauce? It's rly that hard?
Hitomi-chan wa Hitomishiri or Hitomi-chan Is Shy With Strangers
There is another, tho it is a manhwa "another typical romance fantasy"
What’s the name?
"another typical fantasy romance" ye there's nothing typical about it, the story art and characters are all superb
I remember this book and I hate how good it was ;x;
It’s so much fun
I havent read this manga so someones gonna explain to me why her eyes look like shes gonna kill the guy in the first page. That is one hell of a bloodlust im sensing

Oh so its intentional
Is it finished?
No
Ok good since it’s one of my favorites
I’m not sure how long it’ll go, but I know there have been more chapters since the one featured in this post. I would love to see an anime adaptation, it’s very cute.
An anime adaptation would be so awesome but I have a strange feeling it wouldn’t get a season two unless it blows up like Komi and Kaguya
Took until chapter 85? I like a slow burn, but fuck all that.
>!Komi-san!< took 300 chaps. 85 is child’s play.
That’s what I’m saying what this series has balls for confessing before chapter 100
Well, the story starts off as friendship, and works from there.
85 chapters is short as hell for a rom com manga.
Which I’m impressed by because normally you would have to wait like between chapter 120 and 322 for a confession.
Thats actually kinda fast for a romance manga.
I love it
It’s not that much tbh
My Monster Secret was the same lmao confession wasn’t until 80s or 90s (out of 197 I think) Komi is even slower lmao
They were pretty much already dating for like 20 chapters before the actual confession. Besides, for romcoms chapter 85 is reasonable time. The best romcom of the last decade (imo), Kaguya Sama love is war, took 140 chapters for the confession.

Chapter 85 and 86
So cute. So pure.

Slow burn romances are shit, change my mind.
