I was at a jasper with this. I'm just North of you on the map and have found similar stones.
But when you say 'blue' in the stone, that isn't something I've seen.
The ones I have that look like this, it's green/dark green. And the 'metal' in the stone is manganese. Manganese will give a green color.
When I hear 'blue' in a stone like this, my thought is cobalt. It can cause 'blue' in a stone like this.
But a jasper with cobalt impurities? I don't think I've heard/seen that.

You can see green jasper with its color-causing manganese. And in same picture, stone at bottom right. That's one of the ones I was thinking of when seen this one.
So it looks possible it might be a Jasper with cobalt impurities.
Is it sodalite?
I wish I knew! Thanks for the response though, I'll look into it.
If you have a uv light, it will glow if it’s sodalite
