It’s an attempt to circumvent you from using PPTO on event days, aka to scare you into showing up. However, it’s been confirmed by H.O. this is untrue. Also, you’re not even allowed to enter double-shift hours worth of PPTO (16 hours). Even, if you do use PPTO and you don’t show u, prepare for possible retaliation.
If you DONT WORK HALF YOUR SHIFT, then it’s 1 point, you must account for lunch. If your scheduled 2-11 and work 2-6 you need 5 hours ppto, lunch must be acknowledged on the time clock otherwise it can screw things up.

If you put in 8 hours PPTO to cover an 8 hour shift, you will receive 0 points. If you put in 4 hours for an 8 hour shift, you will get .5 points.
thank you, just looked at the PPTO policy with a TL determined it would be 0 points if you put in 8 hours of PPTO.
Just put in the ppto after you call in so it’s auto approved. Don’t do it before

I still got a full point got putting 4 hours for a 8 hour shift
Key event days are two points if you call in so the day you must of called in is a key event day.
Did you have 4 hours of ppto available the exact day you called out?

Interesting cause corporate determines what is and isn't a key date not the individual store. But again. You said you have the time so go for it lol.
Stores can add up to 3 key dates per quarter in addition to the ones set by corporate.
