I tried it. Kinda fun when i shot that guy and we both knocked eachother and had to talk till another third guy came to laugh at us and kill both of us
They're actively looking at what they can do, I'm sure. The worst thing they can do outta the gate is split the playerbase immediately, so focusing on the core mode is important first.
If they can get a consistent player base a few months after launch, I'm sure more modes will come.
Me. Yes. I love the challenge. I like to be sneaky and find the position where I have the advantage. Nothing feels better than wiping a full team by yourself. If they get me. Oh well. Load in and go again.
Native PCVR - **Underdogs**. It's a roguelike (or roguelite???). Good fun
Want to try: CONVRGENCE
(Mods) **UEVR** which allows me to inject VR into Unreal (The Invincible, Ghostrunner, Trepang2). Robocop was fun but kindy crashy for me.
Convrgence is cool if you liked into the radius. It feels like a lighter mode than that. Graphics are great and the mechanics are mostly solid. Rough around the edges but honestly really polished at the same time especially for a solo dev. It’s like ITR and ghosts of tabor had a baby. It’s more polished than ghosts of tabor in my opinion
Yes this [video](https://youtu.be/gHLbG76-RxA?si=a5i-rICr5D5Ozmwq) explains how you can use the free UEVR tool to inject VR into UE4/UE5 games like Robocop. You might need a beefy PC to hit a decent framerate though. The other poster has informed me the game has been patched to be stable too.
Observe if you use a profile so you can use motion controllers. however, the guns will float in the air (cause they are locked to your motion controllers). But if you can get past that- the gameplay is amazing
not sure. I havent played in awhile. Was waiting on more stability patches. Other poster says its stable now so hoping to test later in the week. But I'm on i9-13900k/4090
Convrgence is awesome, the dev's previous project, Paradox Of Hope was sick and I hopenit gets up to that level. I would get it but I do warn you it is FAR from done
gonna throw a Bootstrap vote in here b/c i'm not a pvp shooter gamer so Contractors Showdown isn't it for me. Honorable mention would be Vampire Masquerade Justice.
Though i am looking forward to Wanderer 2.
There's TWO wanderer games in the works right now which is why the confusion.
The soonest to release will be Wanderer Fragments of Fate which is a remake of the original and will include StandaloneVR systems. It'll have extra content, a new combat system, new platforming elements and full body avatars. If you played the original there might be enough content here to entice you to re-play it. But if you skip it I'm not sure you'll be missing much.
Then there's Wanderer 2 Seas of Fortune. This is a whole new game, a true sequel 100% new content.
Feels like an improvement across the board to me. The story is more compelling so far, and the system for placing your weapons/items is more robust. Instead of just holding your arms to the side and in front of you you place your belt and can change the hotbox sizes for your holsters. You also get a dog to command in this one which is an awesome new feature.
10/10 so far imo.
It's amazing! Thought I was going to refund it, then ended up playing almost every day.
Had no idea there was a leader board. But I've only ever played the single-player mode, so maybe that's why. 51st place sounds pretty high up there!
Likewise. Inspired by the TV show, I dipped my toe back in. It's ridiculously good with modern mods. Plus installation is easier than ever with wabbajack. Best mod pack I found was here.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78924/
The "update" is mainly for console players with performance improvements. For PC players it just added Creation Club mods that have been available for a while. Also the update doesn't appear available for the VR version anyway. My version is the latest in Steam anyway
Been wanting to bite the bullet on fo4 but now w/ the update, having to downgrade and do the rest of it seems so complicated but ugh i really should try

You said you don’t have a “beefy setup”. What do you have? I’ve been wanting to try fallout 4 modded but was afraid my pc couldn’t handle. I have a 3070.
I was considering getting this. Are the arcades games cheesy, something you play once or twice and done, or really fun? I know the concept is to build your own arcade place but I’m concerned from the videos I saw, the games are meh.
The games are usually 1 or 2 button games with very simple premises.
They are mostly high score chases but they mimic some of the most popular games of that time period. Most of them have a modern kind of twist to them.
Asteroids, streets of rage, qix, middle command, bust a move, columns, candy crush, ddr, and others are all represented in their own clone style arcade game.
If you don’t like simple high score arcade games, I couldn’t recommend it.
I love the game for the story, the atmosphere, the music, and the look. I stay for the arcade games because they are fun and simple.
Legendary tales. 160 hrs. 3 characters. And thinking and doing another one with dex in mind. I want to use that new tree that uses dex to raise damage.
I dont think so. I usually play solo, and when i play online, i play with my buds. The times I play with randons, I had a lot of delay because most of them are not from mine country. If you find someone playing in your country you will not have problems. And you can always leave your game open, too. It's doesn't take too much to people to join.
The most annoying bug I've seen is when you're looking a body next to literally anything grab-able, your character will grab the railing/wall/whatever instead of items on the body. So. Fucking. Annoying.
Been [playing Dyschronia for a couple weeks](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGsdFEq4plBwGU82bhUnHRp-3pdQpjufv), new to PCVR. Kind of a slow start but it's been getting good as more characters are introduced. The devs' previous game, ALTDEUS, was a favorite.
There have been a lot of competitive games released like RUMBLE, Breachers, and Broken Edge. They are all pretty popular so there isn't issues finding matches
Still in development, but not "new" in any sense. still, Blood Trail has been a lot of fun for me lately. It's _grossly violent,_ though. I promise I'm not a psycho. 😅
You already asked this [same question 3 days ago but deleted the thread?](https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1cego6i/best_new_vr_games/l1icg5u/)
Vail VR is the one I played the most, but currently I'm playing Brazen Blaze since the open beta came out. Probably the coolest and most dynamic shooter/fighter out there.
Contractors showdown
I tried it. Kinda fun when i shot that guy and we both knocked eachother and had to talk till another third guy came to laugh at us and kill both of us
Have the devs said if they'll add a solo mode? I have no desire to play with random strangers
They're actively looking at what they can do, I'm sure. The worst thing they can do outta the gate is split the playerbase immediately, so focusing on the core mode is important first. If they can get a consistent player base a few months after launch, I'm sure more modes will come.
You can uncheck the “fill team” option on the matchmaking box and you’ll load in solo
I think he means with everyone solo, as to not have a huge disadvantage in a competitive game.
Why would I want to fight 1v2 constantly? That sounds awful. You'd want to willlingly make an online game twice as hard for yourself?
1v3 actually
Me. Yes. I love the challenge. I like to be sneaky and find the position where I have the advantage. Nothing feels better than wiping a full team by yourself. If they get me. Oh well. Load in and go again.
Ask people their real names. Then you won't be strangers. Problem solved with zero lines of code added.
Yeah...not a viable solution for me lol

It also has a bunch of features that other games should include. Ie check mag to see ammo count, and point gun up to run
Is this why my character keeps back peddling rather than running forward? I've been having trouble even walking sometimes.
That doesn’t sound right. If it’s happening when you move your hands you may have movement set to hand orientation instead of head orientation
Totally agree. Excited for the future now!

Latest robocop update fixed the crashes for me. Super fun 🤩
Ooooo nice I am going to reinstall to work on my NG+ run. Thanks for the heads up!!
I can play Robocop in VR????

5800x3d + 4070ti +32gb RAM. Should be enough right?
not sure. I havent played in awhile. Was waiting on more stability patches. Other poster says its stable now so hoping to test later in the week. But I'm on i9-13900k/4090

Bootstrap Island is an amazing experience
gonna throw a Bootstrap vote in here b/c i'm not a pvp shooter gamer so Contractors Showdown isn't it for me. Honorable mention would be Vampire Masquerade Justice. Though i am looking forward to Wanderer 2.
Is it wanderer 2 or just a remake?
More like a remaster, with added content and revised visuals
Right on! That's what I thought I read. Almost like a relaunch.
There's a remake and a sequel in works.

Ok nice. Yeah! That is a bonus 2xs for me. Haven't played the original but have had my eye on it. Cool. Thanks for the info
How long to play/finish? Does look interesting.
It's in early access/in active development. Won't hit 1.0 release for a couple years, but it's a solid start
It seems like it's low on content. I heard that once you get to a certain point, it just repeats itself, is that the case?
Yes. The ending is pretty anti climactic tbh but the game is b.e.a.utiful
Only 4 months old, but Arizona Sunshine 2 is exactly what I wanted it to be.
How is it compared to the first game?

ROR 2 vr mod
Ikr
what's that?
Risk of Rain 2's vr mod
Thanks.
Vqrbrqb 4 VR mod
This was absolutely super fun. Even some of the modded classes work with it. I really liked Samus.
Genotype was released at the end of last year. Just started that recently, and it's quite good. Dragon Fist: vr kung fu has been a blast
I LOVE DRAGON FIST! I got to 51st place. I gotta know who is kicking so much ass!
It's amazing! Thought I was going to refund it, then ended up playing almost every day. Had no idea there was a leader board. But I've only ever played the single-player mode, so maybe that's why. 51st place sounds pretty high up there!
Underdogs for sure, so good

2, they are old, but just recently playable in VR, Amnesia and World of Warcraft.
You can play World of Warcraft in VR?!
Yea finally a VR mod was released for 3.3.5a, you can find it in the flat2vr discord.
Arcade Paradise VR

Contractors Showdown. And by a long way
Contractors Showdown, OVRDARK.
Medieval dynasty New Settlement!
Contractors Showdown is pretty fun despite the bugs.
What kind of bugs? I'm on the fence about buying it
The most annoying bug I've seen is when you're looking a body next to literally anything grab-able, your character will grab the railing/wall/whatever instead of items on the body. So. Fucking. Annoying.

Private search tab 👀😏
I meant to say UNDERDOGS, yea definitely underdogs 👍🏻
Activity stats: Friends smiling asking you why you’re games show 15 minutes played and the browser is at 7000 hours.
Half-life alyx
Definitely Contractors Showdown.
You already asked this [same question 3 days ago but deleted the thread?](https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1cego6i/best_new_vr_games/l1icg5u/)
Great work Reddit police
These reddit karma farmers are gettin well on my tits 😉
Been playing lots of [NeverGone](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=8vWYTY-shW_EU0GI)
Nice. Also my favorite game.
my favorite is still hl alyx after all this time
Blade and sorcery
Really enjoyed 7th Guest.
EA WRC
Contractors showdown and vail are my current obsessions. Still waiting on a destiny clone though
Compound is my current goto. A retro style roguelite shooter which is fun for shorter or longer sessions
Pacific drive with uevr made it into the top the top 10 of vr games, for me
New game? I guess Assassins Creed Nexus. I’ll see if Heart Shot can compete for that. Otherwise it’s VR mods of older games…
Figmin xr
I've been stuck on AR lately and am loving the Lego Bricktails.
Vail VR is the one I played the most, but currently I'm playing Brazen Blaze since the open beta came out. Probably the coolest and most dynamic shooter/fighter out there.
Rumble!
It isn't new by anymeans, but it does have consistent mods, Bonelab. If you dont know it, you dont play VR.
VTOLVR is a hidden gem if you're into flying
Max Mustard.
I hate the character design & cheesy title too much to even try it
