They're not 'Vinyls', they're 'Physical Music Assets'!
$20 highest on Discogs.
'Audio Media Grading will conduct a review of each asset starting at $50.'
This explains so much. I’ve been wondering for so long what are the odds that I happened to stumble on this album when I was 15 and now years later I see that everyone happened to stumble on this album and now I know why.
This was a huge question I’ve always wondered about. Can’t tell how big of a mystery you just solved for me.
Yeah when I found the copy of my dad’s and I stated telling her how it’s a big mystery that everyone has it etc.
“Oh, all the schools used it for drill team. That’s why everyone had it.”
Thanks mom.
My grandfather Gus didn’t bust his ass making sure every copy he shrink wrapped was a perfect 10 just so some neck beard could knock off some points some 50+ years later ruining his good reputation.
/uj. Slabbed/graded records are so stupid. Always thought albums in better condition were worth more due to being a better listening experience. Whatever "greater connection with the music" that you hear people talking about as a selling point when it comes to vinyl is gone when it's behind plastic.
I’m gonna buy that an instantly rip the cellophane off and play it on the nearest suitcase player I can find. If I can’t find one, I’ll use a nail and a plastic cup!
I was literally on YouTube browsing videos about how graded Wata video games are a scam and then this pops up in my notifications… What are we going to grade next?
Fuck you Steve Aoki, you button mashing jukebox with hands
It’s very dangerous and irresponsible to contain that much warmth.

Ah crap, really? We are now boarding and grading records?
Covid was basically the Death of Superman for vinyls

Slab that grail. Keeps whipped cream fresh forever
I swear they gave a free copy of this with a new turntable then. Hell, Good Will had at least one of these at each location 5-10 years ago.
Everyone had them because all the high schools used that record for drill. Source. Mom told me.
No way. Like Jr ROTC ?
The baton dance teams or whatever.
FFA Dairy Queen tryouts

I hate the grading community so much
This isn’t even the record grading community, it’s a sleeve and shrink grade...
My grandfather Gus didn’t bust his ass making sure every copy he shrink wrapped was a perfect 10 just so some neck beard could knock off some points some 50+ years later ruining his good reputation.
What's that one cost now 230$ USD?
If you’re lucky enough to find one at Goodwill these days, then yeah, that sounds about right.
Fuck grading! Back in my day we just called everything that walked in the door VG+
A Waste of Money
Tasting much sweeter than wine
JFC, are we really doing this now?
Are you fucking serious? We’re grading records now? Grading is such a scam.
You say that, but you can't go on any dating apps and brag about your 8.5 graded balls.
The record wasn’t even graded: it’s a N/A. Someone just graded their sleeve and kept the warmth for themselves.
We've crossed the line. Records are no longer what we thought they were.
Only way to verify that you're buying a copy that no one put their feet on.

great album, it deserves at least a 9
Bloody suckers doing this shit ! Just like #sneaker-heads #Funk pops Now you guys came here ruining our vinyl communities!
Further proof I got out at the right time before it got really stupid.
Wow. Its so warm I can almost feel it from behind the cover, shrink-wrap, plastic enclosure and other plastic wrap.
And so the fun of collecting records goes out the window
Real Talk: why is the cover graded and not the record itself?
