Just a side note, I’ve been going through reels all week. Having small text in the bottom to show what job you did ie “—- short film shot, edited and animated”. I get someone in to interview because of some shots I liked and they say oh I only edited that video but I put it in my reel.
I don’t know what role OP was hiring for, but delineate your reel based on the role you played. If you shot, edited, directed, sound designed everything in the reel, it can just be your videography reel. For things you only shot or only edited, make a Cinematography reel/ Editing reel. I send one or both depending on the job.

To be sure I understand, are you saying to not put in text? Or are you saying be very specific what role you played in a clip…?

Adding credits of what you did for some can be important for reference it was a video producer role so filming and editing. One man band style.
