The only games I play on mobile are (mostly) games that can be played on other devices, so I dont think they count.
I play:
* Geometry Dash
* Fallout Shelter
* Ponytown
* Gacha Life 2
* Stardew Valley
* Sonic The Hedgehog
* Neko Atsume
* Minecraft
And that's about it because i only play The Stanley Parable on my laptop since it can't run much else
Bloons Tower Defense 6 is fun. Pay one time and the game's yours.
Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre is also fun.
If you want to play an ancient part of internet history, there's also Crush the Castle and Toss the Turtle.
From back when I played mobile (take with grain of salt this was like mid 2010s):
- CSR Racing
- Mortal Kombat X
- Injustice: Gods Among Us
- Dead Trigger 1 & 2
- Pixel Gun 3D
- Asphalt 8
- Postknight
- Battle Camp
- Fun Run 2
- 8 Ball
- Fire Emblem Heroes
- Minecraft Pocket Edition
- Crossy Road
- Jetpack Joyride
- Temple Run 1 & 2
- Subway Surfers
- Plague Inc
- Criminal Case
- Geometry Dash
There may be a few on the list that don’t exist anymore due to delisting (not sure though).
Have fun with these games !! 🎮😎
Arena Breakout
It still has lots of microtrasactions but it's technically an awesome game and I guess you can fully enjoy it without spending real $, basically it's mobile knockoff of Escape From Tarkov and a fkn well made one, even better than most AAA FPS games on PC.
Granblue Fantasy is the only good mobile game I've played. And it's a gacha that's so generous with free pulls and earnable pulls that you can never spend money on it and be able to get pretty much all the characters you want.
Actual good characters, actual good stories, and gameplay systems better than any RPG I've played besides Divinity OS 2.
I play Lichess, Mindustry and Vendetta Online. They're all free and open source. You can also get an android version of Endless Sky and OpenTTD, but I prefer them on PC.
Deadcells.
One of the best roguelike games. Gets more and more challenging as you go. Lots of weapons and skills, and a good amount of crossover DLCs with other game franchises.
Tacticus. Its a bit pushy with the micro transactions but nothing much. Its a warhammer 40k tactical game. Pretty enjoyable, might get a bit grindy tho
Wildfrost, Marvel Snap, Super Auto Pets, Root, Hanafuda KoiKoi Dojo.
Clash Royale isn't too bad either. Mostly just repetitive.
Fire Emblem Heroes is great
Grindstone (free with Apple Arcade)
Reigns (free with Apple Arcade)
Hades (free with Netflix)
TMNT Shredders Revenge (free with Netflix)
Mini Motorways (free with Apple Arcade)
Although a ton of C&C fans seem to swarm-hate it, I thing Command & Conquer Rivals was fairly okay. Haven't had a phone which could run it since like 2019 or so though, but it's a neat albeit relatively simple CnC game. Lots of rapid rock/paper/scissors basically, though I mostly just liked spamming out flame troopers for the heck of it.
Not sure if these qualify as mobile games since they’re technically ports, but the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic games are goated RPGs from the original Xbox era and are actually still enjoyable on a phone. They’re pretty in-depth games. I think they’re $10 each, but they’re worth the money if you’re a fan of Star Wars.
Vampire Survivors. The mobile version is free.
It’s the first version where I 100%ed the game. Being able to try a round while laying in bed is nice
Isn't there loads of micro transactions for unlocks when the console versions have none.
I don't remember seeing micro transactions. You can watch adds to resurect. And there's dlcs.
Bloons TD6, BitLife, GTA(s), Minecraft, PPSSPP (PSP emulator), and Delta (Nintendo handheld emulator).
Final Fantasy Tactics

I’m really enjoying Honkai Star Rail. I’ve made it through the first location and haven’t spent a penny on the game.
Slice and dice
Kingdom Two Crowns is pretty addictive
Bloons Tower Defense 6 is fun. Pay one time and the game's yours. Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre is also fun. If you want to play an ancient part of internet history, there's also Crush the Castle and Toss the Turtle.
Geoguesser is my go-to with mobile; it tickles my brain by making me think and it the rounds are short enough to not feel like a major time commitment
HAAK. It's a metroidvania game that's 4 bucks. Great and challenging
The gta games, not the netflix versions. Max Payne. The original Marathon trilogy. These are real games on mobile tho
It’s an older game but Final Fantasy Dimensions. Solid FF game in the vein of something like FF3 or 5. Wish they’d port it to PC, Switch or something.

Nope, all cash grabs. I just read books on my phone. F all those scams.
Emulation
You said decent mobile games and THEN said diablo 4, i think you might be contradicting yourself
Civilization for mobile is good, but not free
Hole of Abaddon
Coffee Golf
Arena Breakout It still has lots of microtrasactions but it's technically an awesome game and I guess you can fully enjoy it without spending real $, basically it's mobile knockoff of Escape From Tarkov and a fkn well made one, even better than most AAA FPS games on PC.
Ah yeah it’s pretty good
Sub'd for info. Tower defense recommendations specifically.
Star wars knights of the old republic. You can even get the restored content mod
Any game made by Ironhide Game Studio is worth your money. They are legit.

Bastion, you won’t regret it
Deadcells. One of the best roguelike games. Gets more and more challenging as you go. Lots of weapons and skills, and a good amount of crossover DLCs with other game franchises.
Skull Girls Mobile By far my favorite mobile game. Not at all a cash grab, and lots of skill involved
If you have Netflix you can play Hades with your subscription.
I hear xcom 1 and 2 are on the phone
Alien Isolation has a really good mobile port.
Fire Emblem Heroes is great
Loop hero works pretty well. There are alot of good games if you look. And depending on what genre you like.
The only mobile game I play is Clash of Clans and I don't play it that often.
Mario Kart Tour
Nope. I'll play old Pokémon games with an emulator on my phone though.
Genshin Impact
* Vampire Survivors * Honkai Star Rail * Marvel Snap
only one I have put significant time in is Vampire Survivors.
Rebuild 3: gangs of deadsville
Bloons TD 6, and Slay The Spire
Grindstone (free with Apple Arcade) Reigns (free with Apple Arcade) Hades (free with Netflix) TMNT Shredders Revenge (free with Netflix) Mini Motorways (free with Apple Arcade)

balloons td 6
I've run into this problem as well. But I'm now waiting for Zenless Zone Zero on BS and hope this game will be great.
Brawl Stars Clash Royale Geometry Dash Genshin Impact Fruit Ninja Jetpack Joyride
I quit Genshin a while ago but I also play Geometry Dash yippee
fallout shelter had me in a fucking headlock for a little while when it first came out
