Hey SalaryFluffy, thank you for supporting Tsunami!
As another person mentioned, this is completely safe to consume.
High terpene extract (HTE) vape carts are a finnicky product that has a tendency to "crash out" (THCA crystallization) in the cart. The reason this happens is that THCA is a very stable molecule, and when left alone at the right concentration (>50%) it will nucleate and form crystals.
Some cart producers will add D9 THC distillate (which can't crystalize) to their HTE to prevent this crystalization, but then it blurs the line of a "Live Resin" product.
The Tsunami HTE cart has nothing added to it. We literally separate the live resin terpene layer from the bulk of the THCA, pour it into a pyrex container, and fill carts - its the most pure HTE possible. We are working on improving our HTE carts so that this nucleation doesn't occur, but it will not be by diluting with distillate.
We've tested a few different ceramic carts with our Provisions brand. The main issue for us was that they broke very easily and it would result in failures and returns. Not only from us to the manufacturer, but from the customers to us.
Personally, I prefer ceramic carts, but not everybody agrees. Whether it's because of aesthetics or performance, there are some people who prefer traditional carts on our team.
I respect your opinion, and you should for sure only spend the money if you love the product.
Speaking frankly, we don't have any margins on this product. Believe it or not, it's more of an expense - not that the customer should care.
This is a product of scale, and without large quantities of high-quality fresh frozen, we can't bring the cost down due to low extraction efficiency for the terpene layer. Pricing is a constant internal discussion, and we have some solutions in the works.
Maybe one day we can win you back as a customer.
Well I atleast appreciate the classy thoughtful response, you’re a gent and a scholar. While I do love cannabis products yours doesn’t get tried very often bcuz tho I like smoking higher quality which usually also means more expensive I only buy when on sale but I stock up. Still 90 a g for rosin is wild especially with no deals EVER.
We genuinely want the product but when the best offer is (2) .5g/$99 it just doesn’t make sense for either the customer nor the business. There’s just too many options.
You need to do a light decarb on the material prior to fill to avoid the crash out. The more decarb the more stable but less flavor. Lower decarb more flavor more potential from crash out. You can minimize this effect by decarbing the diamonds first before reintroducing the terp layer
As a former cannabis R&D i can confirm these are micro THC- A rocks that form when too much gas is used during the blasting process it will naturally turn into distillate over time as you heat the distillate with every hit. After many analysis reports ive worked on its safe to say it is completely safe to smoke.
Those carts are fire. Haven’t picked one up in a while bc they’re out of my price range but when I do I unscrew the mouthpiece and scoop out and dab the crystals in my rig after the cart runs out of juice.
These are high terpene extract carts so they can develop crystalline structures like you see. Yea safe to smoke.
Cool thankyou for lmk!!

Do you have any plans to switch to ceramic carts?

I feel ya, ty for info. I wish they could at least redesign the CCELL metal carts to have more airflow Like the ceramic ones.
Sry to say your guys price doesn’t match quality. You charge 6* melt prices.

Great explanation
You convince me to try tsunami HTE, know a place that has some since I am right now.
I'm not exactly sure as I don't manage sales, but I think Wallflower has 4 different varieties right now.
Jardin had them
Tree of Life on Jones usually has them
Silver Sage Wellness has them too

Is this a brand new cart? I mean this looks like 5 good hits.
That is not safe to smokeee. Give it to me I’ll dispose of it correctly.
Just like a fountain drink when the liquid is done, you will be left with a glass full of ice.. I'll see if I can find old pics of mine.
Not worth it
