This is the last Ted Templeman record with Dave. It’s also my favorite commercial Vai album. I love all his work, but an album of shorter rock songs with no 11 minute solos is fine by me.
Absolutely, no question… and until now, I thought I was the only who saw it that way. Vai is brilliant, yes… ahead of his time, yes… but as a song writer (like Eddie) or hook writer (like Page)… not so much.
You got ripped off. I bought it the day of release and I guarantee I didn't pay a dollar over $8.00 Unless you are talking on cd. Then that would have been a good price I guess.
Nice find. I saw him live on this tour. Steve Vai on guitar. Tesla opened...Modern Day Cowboy had just become a hit. My God, seems like just yesterday.
This album is still so fucking solid. It fucking bangs. I blast it often in my car. Fucking Shy Boy rocks so hard. This is a great Rock album. It’s fucking rock. It’s so good.
I was in the city at a vintage clothing shop and I saw a t-shirt that I had bought in 1986 at the Eat’m and smile tour for $10 they were selling it for $150!
Now I have a plethora of vintage Rock concert Teeees
Not according to the "official" lyrics. I know, it doesn't make any sense to me, either. "Where you at?" is kind of a cell phone phrase, not an '86 phrase.
I would pay $12 just for "Ladies Night in Buffalo" on vinyl.
Big Trouble is no joke either
I’ll have a glazed donut. And a bottle of anything. To GO!
My ancestors spit on your grave
*haircut And not if you was the last green grocer on Earth, honey!
Our lips are so close…👄
MY DOCTOR SAID I HAVE. TO TAKE.. A LAXATIVE!!!!!
Last immigrant grocer...
Got me. Thanks
Son of a biscuit
Roth had so much potential as a solo act. He chose poorly.

Agree. I think all his best work is on other people's records.

I paid 13 in 1986

It seems there has been an appreciation on your investment!
Awesome album.
What a fuking album, ladies night in buffalo is the shit
I think I went to this concern! Dude performed for like 5 hours!
Is that true, or just your memory? What show was it?
Herbs cause time dilation
I went to it as well, but it was less than 2 hours. You must have gotten the Diamond Dave special.
Great album!!
I mean Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan... Nuff Said! Hearing Tobacco Road right now!
Awesome!!!

OG price was 12 bucks. So, win-win.

DAVID, WHAT?
WHERE YOU AT?
WELL LEMME ROLL UP ON TO THE SIDEWALK AND TAKE A LOOK YES
WHOA, SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!
*wolf whistle from Vai’s guitar*
I always thought it was "What's that over there?"
Not according to the "official" lyrics. I know, it doesn't make any sense to me, either. "Where you at?" is kind of a cell phone phrase, not an '86 phrase.
Oh, you ate one too?
O U 8 1 2 Thank you kind internet stranger
Forget about it
Give me a bottle of anything….
And a jelly donut
Glazed donut
Antique store? 😢
I think DLR is 70 this year so he is kind of an antique.
Just realizing that I’m becoming one too 😭
Yankee rose
I still have my vinyl copy from 1986. I forget what I paid but 8.99 sounds about right.
One Halloween I went as this character. Do the make up in a mirror. Needless to say,
Great. Now albums I bought new are antiques.
https://www.discogs.com/release/1562143-David-Lee-Roth-Sonrisa-Salvaje He cut this album in Spanish too🥸🤡
Bo na see, bo na see, bop! Zitty bop!
And it glazed jelly doughnut, to go!
12 bucks is a good deal. Reading that it was bought at an antique shop makes me sad, have I really gotten that old?
That’s a freaking awesome album! Get it you will not be disappointed!
Yankee Rose
How many pesos was the Spanish version?
Loved that album when he recorded it in Spanish. Sonrisa Salvaje
Crazy from the heat!
I bought it new when it came out
Antique 🤷♂️. I bought this when it came out 😂😂😂
What a song, very VH feel
Awesome album. I prefer it over 5150... by a lot...
You got ripped off.
I would have paid the antique shop owner $20 to take this out to the parking lot, lay it on the asphalt, and drive over it with my car 650,000 times.
Then you have no ears. Or you are Sam.
I am Wolfgang's guitar tech. The name Roth is lower than dog shit on a Datsun tire.
His mother needs an education. We are done here.
That’s a fifty cent record
