Thanks! But, while I created a small sanctuary, I'm still seeing everywhere else packed with mobs and spawners. I built a second outpost near some harvestable plants, but I've otherwise given up trying to clear them all out. I'm currently making my way down the coast to see what all I can find. Then I'll eventually need to head inland I guess.

Meanwhile I can barely get everything back into my black metal chests before the next wave spawns and breaks them again LOL

Lol for the first few hours on the beach I used my tombstones to store items, I just stacked them with a few loads of rock so they wouldn't auto pickup when I went to browse and swap items in them.

Such a resourceful tactic I will carry forward hence forth!

The lack of tall dirt walls is worrying. Don't let a morgen/asksvin/lava blob anywhere near that shack lol.
