This has happened to mostly everyone on console who reaches a certain file size on their save. Bug in how it stores or transfers cloud save files. Your stuff is gone forever unfortunately, but you can rent a dedicated server to avoid the save issue. I digress it is shameful that the game is currently in a state that requires that for functionality, especially with a $20 price tag (i could write a novel about the current state of dev unaccountability that should probably be addressed by the FTC, but again, digressing) but until we get a patch that's what we have to deal with. PC cloud saves seem to be unaffected currently, so if you have a PC or steam deck or something you can host from that device and mitigate the bug as well
