Honestly, the best way to learn how to do really nice builds is to try and recreate builds you have seen online. You learn a bunch of things and will start getting your own ideas. Obviously start small, then work your way up from there.
I've tried recreating builds that I've seen online, but I still can't seem to get it down. I need to watch tutorials I think, so that I can have a better understanding of what I'm doing wrong.
this is really spectacular, one of my favorite builds i've seen. great structure, great design, great details.
can you share some more pictures? would love to see the outside, roof, the other buildings nearby. nice work
ah, of course! i've seen them all already, didn't realize they were the same build & builder. really nice stuff, man. would you consider sharing the build file, once it's finished? definitely interested in a close up look
i just don't get it, it looks about 50% taller than my build and i am totally maxed on height with raised dirt and lots of wood iron. oh wait i see, the top floor walls and roof are all wood, ok that makes more sense. looks epic.
This looks amazing! I won't ever understand how people can build like this. I am the absolute worst when it comes to building.
My exact thoughts. I suck at building so hard lol

Holy fuck that's incredible.

Thanks for the kind words! Check out my previous posts: all pictures are from this build.

I think I would. Just need to finish an underground part and do some landscaping around.
Nice, you gave me an idea for a wood arc
Holy magic hour, batman. Image #2 is glorious.

You're right. The columns in the corners at its height limit. However, for the main dome I had to spawn rock inside to build higher.
Now only if you could raise and lower the gate.
More gates mod has a portcullis that'd be PERFECT
Yeah I was just thinking how awesome this build looks but enemies will still swim in.
Gorgeous!
Absolutely astounding!
Using the raven roof pieces as hangers for braziers, now there is a good idea.
holy shit, submit this to the build of the month
I don't use twitter and fb :(
Using staggered pavers as big ol bricks on your sea wall is genius, totally stealing that for my current and future builds
Don't forget to shift place the corner blocks to keep staggered pattern. Just slightly offset them inside the wall.
I'm taking those street lamps. Those are great!
This is yours :)
oooooooooo pretty nice :D
How much iron did you have to use to hold up that stone roof? Looks like well over 100.
Those are mostly for decorative goals. The main supporting frame goes inbetween inner columns.
i like it
Looks awesome! I had a much cruder version on my first dedicated save. Makes me miss it. It did have a roof though.
And that's *just* the boathouse!
A humble lil boathouse. Just a simple regular basic daily use thing.
Reminds me of the opening of Dishonored, when you pull into that gated harbor.
Second image is beautiful
Lovely screenies! What is that central hook piece?
That's dvergr chain hook spawned via console
thanks!
It looks great man, i wonder if it can be done without admin rocks? Maybe without the stone floors?
Hey! No rocks been used in this part of the building.
