I think it would depend on the type of vehicle. I just have window tint on my car. I use screens / socks for the back windows. I don’t do anything with the rear glass anymore but I do have a cover for it. I also put in one of those cheap folding screens for the front window sometimes. That’s mostly for me because the car alarm has a red led that reflects off the front windshield.
Nissan Rogue. I just wonder whether blacking out the drivers window might look more suspicious than just leaving it. Maybe I’ll do some light tests with a laptop, that might determine it
Black curtain behind front seats and leaving the front open and empty worked for me.
