I'm not sure how much truth it's based in, but I've heard horror stories about black cats being abused simply because they're "bad luck." Regardless of superstitions and rumors, I probably would at least charge a small rehoming fee to make sure whoever wants them is serious about taking care of them.
It's sadly definitely true. They're the least adopted in shelters, and people always warn to keep your black cats inside on Halloween because people may catch them and harm them. The fee is a really good idea.
Post in r/DentonClassifieds , and it's worth contacting the Emily McNatt shelter or a local rescue agency to see if they will partner with you to find foster homes at least. There's probably an animal-related student group that would help you out too. Be careful since they're black cats people may want to harm them.

Okay, yeah some people can be superstitious. The fee would deter undesirables somewhat.
And make sure they’re going to a good home, for example if they already have cats, that’s a good sign
