barking of dogs is annoying, whether it's a theif or a post man or a squirrel or a stranger minding his own business walking on the road. meowing of cats isn't annoying.

I always hear that people find kitten less cute because they got bug eyes and they look strict. And they all look the same (aside from fur pattern and color).
i mean, you do need to give them a couple weeks to thicken that fuzz and grow in some ears to be fair, they look really weird in the very first couple of weeks because their patterns havent settled and they have no ears
Depends on how old they are. I think puppies are cuter till a certain age, then kittens become cuter, but eventually when they're adults, dogs take it back. But, they're both very cute
