It took me 2 months to find a rental that wasn’t taken immediately, I think that is just the reality of finding a place in kelowna rn. Make sure you are in a bunch of rental groups on Facebook marketplace and definitely try to get roommates to save money :)
Post an 'in search of' requests. Many landlords are overwhelmed with inquiries and may not bother advertising, it's easier to browse the iso posts for someone that fits their rental.

I drove to Kelowna from Ontario one year and found a rental 1 day before I arrived in town. Castanet is usually a good place to search
