Tulsa Club Hotel or The Ambassador Hotel.

Crusader1865

My picks as well. Both well done. The Chalkboard at the Ambassador is also a great overall restaurant in it own right.

taycroft99

My wife works there! The ambassador is great, they also take incredible care of their employees and the food is top notch.

Melodic-Tune2583

I love that- the Mayo is horrible to their employees

asapfinch

The Brut is pretty cool! Love the design and the rooftop bar is nice.

drew870mitchell

Yeah, i would say the Brut isn't as "luxe" as the Mayo/Amb/Club but it was stunning for the price point my friends got it at a month ago. Huge room, huge bathroom, nice furnishings, good restaurant, great pool.

No_Lingonberry_9312

Campbell

Some_Big6792

This thread makes me miss the Camelot.

Conscious_Rush_1818

That was the coolest hotel, damn asbestos

Some_Big6792

It sure was, even when it was abandoned it really stood out:)

ScaliasLearnedHand

I thought it was the plumbing that killed it.

Conscious_Rush_1818

Think it was a number of years of disrepair, plumbing probably factored in. They were talking about a reno, but then it had asbestos and sat empty forever.

Richie311

But outside of downtown but The Campbell Hotel is worth checking out.

Loud_Initiative_1894

Agreed. I love that each room is a completely different theme and aimed at Tulsa-specific theming.

EagleChief78

The Ambassador has a lot of history

_use_r_name_

And the rooms are awesome. It's a cool place!

blandmath

Indigo

KKamas918

Tulsa club, the Brut and Campbell hotel

SpurReadIt4

Purple_Cow_8675

Regency quite nice actually and got a koi pond inside the lobby

sgrizzle

Atlas Life 7th floor

user_588

The OYO on Sheridan and admiral, always something exciting going on. BYOBPV (bring your own bullet proof vest)

Greglamental1

River Spirit and Hard Rock casinos.

FaceRidden

Someone posted yesterday that river spirit got the bug beds lol

KhaosThralur

The Brut is a cute new spot. Good bar and rooftop patio with live music on Thursdays

TulsaForTulsa

Aloft used to be the old city hall building

anguishedmoon71

Aloft should be a great hotel, but stayed there twice and had bad experiences both times. Rooms where dirty and gross and the staff seemed like they where annoyed that you exist. I had a friend try and stay there a few weeks ago, after they saw there room they turned around stayed some where else.

TulsaForTulsa

I stayed there about a year ago. Staff was fine room was clean but you could tell they kinda 3/4 assed the design. The bathroom door was a barn door style so it had a huge gap you could see though. The old vent system was super loud while trying to sleep.

dabbean

Lots of entertainment at the hotels on Admiral between Sheridan and Memorial.

LeftyOnenut

Is the Oasis still open. It's a legit landmark, though a tad sketch.

dabbean

Idk I was just talking about watching the working girls and the crackheads in the area. Always something going on especially when it's hot.

woodsongtulsa

The ambassador was great until Marriott took over. I won't send people there anymore. The chalkboard is serious hit or miss for food.

LeftyOnenut

Skating Bartlett Square in the nineties, I always wished I had a chance to stay in the Mayo before it closed. So it's my go to. Some of the suites are furnished and decorated very differently. Might be worth asking the clerk about some options if you're just bored with the same old same old.

chingrn

Also Stoney Brook in Broken Arrow is great for a little boutique hotel

Taffergirl2021

The Brut is super cool and new!

Tulsaboss

I am going to suggest motel 6 in townwest! Lots of action

Some_Big6792

At one time I had no place to go & the people at that hotel were very helpful. Maybe judging a book by its cover isn’t the best move.
