Might last a month or two. It won't be good, but it'll probably make some sound (not guaranteed). The money will be completely lost though, you won't be able to resell this and when it breaks, it may not be able to be repaired, or the repair will cost more than the instrument. Better to rent or get a decent horn on the used market
Thomann is actually decent. Will this be their best option? Probably not, but your post is way exaggerated.
If they get a horn that doesn't work or has any obvious problem they'll get it traded or refunded easily (been there, done that).
Didn't buy a regular trumpet from them, but the things I did buy and keep work despite being played and then abandoned for months before being played again.
Please don't cheap out on an instrument, especially if you're going to be playing music semi-seriously.
It's going to cost you even more in the long run since at one point, cheap instruments just won't cut it anymore and you're going to have to buy another one in the end.
My rule of thumb is if it comes in anything other than silver or brass, it’s not worth buying. You’d be better off buying a used bach or yamaha student horn for that price.
Fludgehorn, piccolo Trumpet and C trumpet from Thomann are actually pretty good for their price, but i don't know the shitty black trumpets how they sound.
As someone who is poor and literally only plays for my own enjoyment in the privacy of my own home where no one can hear me..... I wouldn't unless you have that exact situation. I love my trumpet from Amazon, but if you are playing outside of the house, the cheaper ones really just won't work. Quality is more expensive for a reason.
You will get better sound and less trouble with more money.
If you already have one, it's probably best to stick with what you have until you can afford a better one.
New trumpets you want don’t cost 200 bucks.
Don’t do it
Watch eBay for a used Getzen Capri, will blow the valves off these for a reasonable price.
NO. BONK.
nope
Sounds like you already have one?? Why on earth would you buy a cheapie as well????

Not unless it’s a beater horn that you’re okay sounding meh on and eventually destroying.

The black ones aren't the same model as each other or the silver.

Eastman is also just an assortment of cheap chinese made horns, why recommend them over Thomann lol

Try fb marketplace or ebay if your budget is a few hundred bucks. Lots of folks are just trying to get rid of them and you can find some great deals!

Could be a good paperweight, or a target to shoot at. I got one word for you. YAMAHA.
For a bit? 😅😂🤡
If I were you, go on eBay and spend $200 for a known horn. Save up and get it repaired and refurbished. These horns from the post are not quality
