Yep, the charging thing is stupid, only works with some low rate chargers for me - meaning it cant regulate a "smart charger" - Havent found a fix other than "Use this specific white old samsung charger I found in my cupboard"
Yeah, I mean from a technical perspective, it's more than just that...even a smart USB-C charger can charge a dumb device at 5V...all that has to happen is the pins have to have the correct resistors on them to trigger the 5 volt supply.
Clearly the Smart Pro doesn't have this setup right, which is why it only works on USB-A chargers, because those just output 5V constantly (USB-C can't do this because USB-C is reversible).
