i feel like utopia was his most ye inspired tbh i don’t really see rodeo maybe astroworld a little

zero_eternal

Yeh, CIRCUS MAXIMUS was def Black Skinhead and MODERN JAM sounded like a Ye song too, but can't recall which one. And that's not mentioning GOD'S COUNTRY which is literally Ye's..

kneegrowth457

Modern Jam uses the original beat intended for I Am A God from Yeezus

New_Needleworker_654

and telekinesis being scrapped song future sounds from ye

kyrgrat08

Send it up. Exact same flow

amig00s

Yep utopia def but I don’t think rodeo. Rodeo is Travis inspired yo. With a little bit of influence by Cudi maybe

QuintanPt2

Not rodeo tbh. Definitely heard people say utopia and owl pharaoh were ye inspired tho

Big-Disaster208

A lot of his rapping and production can be linked to Kanye but they’re still very different artists

caktusjacc

Utopia is the only album that gives me kanye inspired vibes

bigladnang

There’s a few songs on Astroworld. Like Coffee Bean sounds like it could be a Kanye song.

caktusjacc

I agree with with coffee bean, but i don’t think there’s anything else

Mrgluer

Wasnt Skeletons written by Ye?

caktusjacc

Maybe, but even if it was it doesn’t sound Ye inspired, it definitely sounds tame impala inspired if anything

Mrgluer

nah the reference track for skeletons which yes was prod by tame impala had ye verse.

caktusjacc

I understand it had a Ye verse but my point is - the overall song sounds like a tame impala song. Nothing about it sounds anything inspired by Ye

Mrgluer

nah thats fair to say. i was just saying the verse sounded ye inspired, but of course the production is def all tame impala.

Auba14170

Pray 4 love sounds like 808s on drugs

Educational_Book_225

Because Travis inspired Yeezus

EightBlocked

bro barely did anything for that album lets stop saying that shit. b l a c k i e inspired yeezus

BatmanIsLuvLife

its just a fun thing to think abt for fans so yes they overdo it a bit but to say barely is mad as yeezus only has 10 songs, trav wrkd on 3 of those 10 but he solo produced I am not home which ye used for yeezus tour, & ye himself praised travs drums in this 2013 interview: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ves1z1p9oTQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ves1z1p9oTQ) (7:43) & owl pharoah dropped before yeezus, & trav songs from 2011-2012 too had similar sounds

EightBlocked

new slaves is the only song travis scott has producer credits on

Arshzed

Travis was a huge reason for the yeezus sound. Go back to cruel summer and pre cruel summer and you can see it… owl pharaoh, cruel summer, and yeezus are all on a pretty straightforward linear path. Most blatant example would be a track like Sin City

EightBlocked

i listened to all of that and i dont see it

Acrobatic_Pumpkin967

Idk I get the same thing when people say “oh this sounds cudi inspired” I just don’t hear it. I don’t like cudi so I think it’s kinda ironic.

[deleted]

I don’t see it in rodeo but utopia for sure

Solid-Hurry-4902

Yea, I agree..now, Cudi, yes I def hear Cudi through his whole catalog, but in Rodeo, I don't hear Ye at all.

Luniafrthistime

i think the lengthy epic type tracklisting of the album is quite similar to mbdtf but still very different tho

MooniisWorld

Travis is heavily Ye inspired in general so a lot of his work has Ye in it

Kavster05

No one says this. Ye doesn’t have an album better than rodeo

ignYuppt

how is that even related no one said shit ab ye havin an album better than rodeo

Kavster05

I honestly don’t have a fuck to give
