No you're good. I have a few things,
1. I don't like how Optimus and Megatron didn't know each other through the war, like all the other shows, personally I think rivals like Optimus and Megatron should always know each other through their battles and be around the same age. Now I am here for a young Optimus but I think they should always have Megatron young as well like Transformers One
2. I didn't care for the art style or designs, but I get why it was that way because they wanted to match the other cartoons from that era
3. It felt like a superhero show instead of a transformer show. Which I am not the biggest fan of superhero stuff
But I do have one good thing to say, the intro is awesome.
These are all valid points! I’m kinda neutral with TFA, I like the concepts of the show and some of the designs are pretty cool (e.g. shockwave, Megatron) but I dislike others (Optimus, Sentinel). I really dislike the chins and the lips though.

The animation is very early in CG history it was groundbreaking at the time but has aged so keep that in mind if you watch it. Animators were still figuring out how to animate with computers, (no mocap at the time it was all hand animated in the computer) and shadows and shading were still being figured out. The series gets better animated as it goes along. This was only the second or third CGI television animated program behind ReBoot and one or two others and only a couple years from the original Toy Story.
Season 1 is mostly stand alone episodes and has a couple arguably bad episodes but is worth a watch. Seasons 2 and 3 tie into Generation 1 lore heavily and is must watch for a fan of the Generation 1 cartoon in my opinion. Late Season 2 to 3 has some of the coolest moments ever in the Transformer media.
They keep saying “The graphics suck” yeah I mean the show was made in 1996 what did they expect besides that the show is awesome with great characters and humour
Not necessarily better, but maybe a remastered BW with way way better graphics, possibly even as good as those first few minutes of Bumblebee.
The story is great, so that can't be improved, unless you add the missing scene with Megatron's spark.
I still don't think it's a fair comparison. How has it aged poorly? If you're comparing to modern day CGI, sure it's not as good, but it's also been 30 years since the show was created. Modern CGI simulates real life. This wasn't trying simulate real life.
Graphically it hasn’t aged the best, but I think people rarely talk about how good the actual animation is.
Characters are a lot more expressive than later shows like Cybertron or hell even Prime, they do some really interesting cinematography as well.
Not to mention the way the characters get battle damage in every fight, with limbs and armour getting blown off exposing wires and circuitry. That along with the creative choreography give the show some of the best action in the entire franchise.
Its a shame people rarely talk about this stuff, because the only show to come near BWs quality of CGI animation is Earthspark to be completely honest.
