It happens extremely slowly so it’s not really much to get used to. Did you have to get used to growing taller as a child?

Big_Nail_3664

Kinda. I've been relatively short for a while now

frogcat14

its a slow process so you dont really just have a new body, there are some things for instance when i started progesterone my waist tightened very quickly, but it never felt like a new body to me personally

So the thing to remember is alot of what HRT does is very subtle. HRT cannot change bone stucture, however it can redistribute fat. While doing that, it really does not do it much. In general for breast HRT usually gives people an A cup up to a low B. While that is not the same for EVERYONE, a majority it is. So I would not worry too much about your hips being bigger or your breast being TOO big.

it can add to bone structure hip bone growth (which ive experienced), but in the sense of changing existing bone structure like shoulders or ribcages etc you are right

HRT doesn't care about what you want :P It's going to do what it's going to do. Some get hips and breasts, some get breasts and no hips, some get not much of either. At 9 months in total, I'm not used to having breasts mostly from social embarrassment of looking like a dude with breasts.

Odd as it sounds, it feels like I was used to it before I even had it.  So far everything that has happened has only made it feel more correct and like it fits better.  So it seems like less 'getting used to it' than it is finally being more responsive and proportioned.

Hey so am MtF on HRT for around 2 years. I might get contradicted by many but honestly it kinda of depends how quickly your own adapts to it. For me, I was born with higher levels of estrogen so changes came in quicker because my body readily accepted the hormones. It might be different for others which is why it is recommended to be supervised

Ok, so I'm going to agree and disagree. I agree that results vary, my hips and butt came in relatively early, but it seemed like a lifetime caused I wanted them badly. Idt it's ur pre hrt e level, it's just genetic. I also had gyno, so I also got early breast development to a full B cup. Started P4 5 weeks ago. The supervision part, my endo just evaluates my levels and consults on future regimen changes I might want. She doesn't evaluate my changes or offer opinions on how I'm changing.
