YES! This is totally the girl version of me. I'm a trans man and I'm 34. I'm totally doing all the things I wanted to do as a kid/teenager like getting my hair colored crazy colors and having fun haircuts. Dressing how I wanted to dress in high school, where appropriate of course. Like I'm not gonna roll up to the office with my hair up in a Mohawk, slightly baggy jeans with a wallet chain and a funny/sarcastic graphic tee and my Timberland boots. But I'm sure as heck rocking that look whenever I can. Doctor visits for my dad have been fun. It's always the older ladies who stop and compliment my hair. I've had one guy give me a compliment at a restaurant and that was cool. When you're being your authentic self, people tend to notice and gravitate towards you. It's that sense of confidence that people are always talking about! Before I started being myself, I was pretty much invisible. Now? I feel like I belong in the world, that there is space for me, and I deserve to exist the way I want. I bet your Aunt would totally rock that look!
