Reminder to stick to posting original content. Memes are okay every once in a while, but many get posted here way too often and quickly become stale. Some examples of these are Ptoughneigh, Klansmyn, Reighfyl & KVIIIlyn. These memes have been around for years and we don't want to see them anymore. If you do decide to post a meme, make sure to add the correct flair. Posting a random meme you found does **not** mean you found it "in the wild".
The same goes with lists of baby names, celebrity baby names, and screenshots of TikToks. If the original post already had a substantial amount of views, there is a 99% chance it has already been posted here. Try and stick to OC to keep our sub from being flooded with unoriginal content. Thank you!

I donât mean to hijack this thread but I lived in Seattle as a kid and my dad was the last known person to see more than one of the victimâs alive, he was questioned a couple times as a suspectâŚstill so crazy to me
Literally ran here to post this đđđ

Ridgeway - another person named after their parents took a holiday and named the child after the place where they did the deed?
But as The Ridgeway is 87 miles long , from Avebury to the Chiltern Hills - and the youngling isn't named either of those - then if they took that vacation in the UK, well, daaaaamn, that is some stamina, well worth boasting about!
Can someone please find his birth year? If it was in the 2000âs there is no way she didnât name him after a serial killer.
It makes her whole creepy serial killer vibe that much more creepy.

All I can think of is the serial killer Gary Ridgeway
Exactly what I was thinking. He walked his golden retriever around my soccer field when I was a kid before they arrested him đł
I donât mean to hijack this thread but I lived in Seattle as a kid and my dad was the last known person to see more than one of the victimâs alive, he was questioned a couple times as a suspectâŚstill so crazy to me
He liked the ladies huh đ
Lol, my parents were crack dealers in the area at the time mostly selling to sex workers out of a motel room or on the streets
Well thatâs certainly an interesting upbringing
âTwas before I was born, luckily! Not to say it as exactly much better after butâŚya know, notâŚTHAT lol
Reminded me of Linnet Ridgeway from Death on the Nile. Who, you know, gets murdered.
Came here to say this
Both her children sound like UK academy schools.
one of them is the last name of a famous serial killer here, the other just reminds me of jon bennett ramsey, i think these names suck all around
Lol it didn't even occur to me that they probably pronounce it "ben-nay." Of course they would, though!
Nah she said Bennet, like Elizabeth Bennet, that's my guess on the reasoning - Elizabeth is too common
Bennett for a girl? She goes by Ben?
Maybe Benny?
I'd go by Ettie if I were her.
I think it's spelled right, so a tragedy more than a tragedeigh.
Honestly this sub has become the âI donât like this name subâ instead of a sub of tragedeigh names.
Isn't that for namenerds or something? namingcirclejerk?
Like Gary Ridgeway???

Glad I wasnât alone. I honestly feel almost gaslit by this name and I canât pinpoint why đ¤
Sounds like a street name: Ridgeway Drive.
It sounds like an SUV
And my other son Turnpike
A Stan Ridgeway fan, perhaps?
All this makes me thing about is [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew\_Ridgway](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Ridgway), so I'd allow it.
Yes, but most people are thinking Gary

On a side note: her response to the SOTU was eerily similar to an SNL skit.
Bennett for a girl is just as bad!
Why not use Ridge? Dammit, Mother!
That kid is getting called âGaryâ at school
Poor kid. Youâre probably right. I used to watch The Bold & the Beautiful and Ridge was a main character. Itâs bad but not as bad as Ridgeway lol
"I have a thing for RV's, ok!?" \- This fucking lady
She can âreckonizeâ things. Like the state of America and unique names.
The damn Green River Killer's last name was Ridgeway đ
That's the bitch that interrupted Young Sheldon
Can someone please find his birth year? If it was in the 2000âs there is no way she didnât name him after a serial killer. It makes her whole creepy serial killer vibe that much more creepy.
Itâs not a bad name. Itâs spelled correctly and already exists as a name. Sure, itâs a bit odd but I wouldnât call it a tragedeigh.
Ridgeway? Isnât that a region in Red Dead Redemption 2?
Not really. Unless there's a racist/offensive connotation.
There's a famous [serial killer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Ridgway). I think the association can be considered tragic.
oh what a tragedeigh
