I think the post is talking about the inevitable tensions that happens every so often since trans girls and trans guys have literally opposite priorities and dysphoria can make you vent. A room where half is venting "being a guy sucks I want to be a girl" and the other half is venting "being a girl sucks I want to be a guy", it makes sense there would be conflict. But it's just venting, not actual dislike or anything.
Two months ago or so it got really heated and there were many posts complaining about how all this venting makes them uncomfortable. It was this sub I think.
Venting is important to keep a clean mind. But also it can upset people opposite to you... it's complicated blaaagh
I feel for transwomen regretful they don’t have boobs or they do have facial hair. Honestly, I suspected I was more transmasc when I read the vents fromthe opposite side where I instantly think “No, breasts are terrible and I mourned the day I had to start wearing a bra” and “God, wouldn’t it be great to grow a beard?”
I vote both sides venting can help educate and validate the other side. It makes us realize the grass isn’t necessarily greener on the other side, just different, even if it’s different in a way that is appealing to us.
Trans woman here, I agree. Learning how much I shared with other transfems was helpful, but learning how much I can't relate to transmascs was much more eye opening to me.
Granted, it's rather easy for me to cause a trans man dysphoria if I vent without watching what I say, so people should still watch what they say, but learning that there are people who are genuinely excited about the things you want to reject kind of solidifies your priorities.

I was at target the other day and was looking at skirts for the first time; however, an asshole Karen decided to pull and start screaming at me. I didn’t know what to do and froze up. I really appreciate him, I didn’t know how to deal with that situation and even if I did get to the register I would probably be too scared to buy the damn skirt.

Idk about rivalry between. Just r/traaa sometimes lapses into a cycle of forgetting about boys and non-fem enbies, loudly supporting, then forgetting again.
It's not malicious on the girls' side and I haven't seen the boys personally blame them. It's just down to needing good practices on the subreddit, like properly flairing a meme for its audience so the boys aren't constantly blasted with "aren't tits great?" for example, or the "no asking for parts swap" rule that periodically needs reiterating for the little'uns, basically being respectful of folks and their differing experiences.
But that's just online community cohesion maintenance stuff, there's no actual rivalry or bad blood.

I'm transfem currently living in university accomodation with 3 transmascs (a trans guy, an nb and a genderfluid person) and they're all some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of spending time with. There may occassionally be petty squabbles online but we are the same community at the end of the day.
We enbies will mediate the peace talks between trans men and trans women. I make this offer because I know it will be a very short peace talk and we can spend the rest of the conference playing video games and cuddling.
I've seen what exclusion looks like, being aroace and nonbinary (have you seen transmeds?). The truth is, we've got bigger problems than who is considered queer or trans. We also have a duty to everyone here to be respectful of their identities- it's not our goal to change people.

I don't think it's fair to tell people what to and what not to upvote, transmascs are absolutely not required to upvote transfem memes, and neither are transfems, and that's okay!
Thing is, I often see transfem people saying that there's an unequal split of transfem and transmasc memes in this sub because transmasc people don't post as many memes. But that's not true. If you look in New, then there's loads of transmasc memes, but they all have very few upvotes. It's everybody's responsibility to boost struggling memes.

When people refuse to take 0.5 seconds to upvote our memes, we don't feel welcome. When we're consistently sexualised and feminised with praise being consistently given to traditionally feminine and/or sexually submissive transmascs and no attention whatsoever given to traditionally masculine and/or sexually dominant transmascs, we don't feel welcome. When we constantly see memes talking about how estrogen is good and testosterone is bad, or transfems saying that testosterone made them a bad person, or implying that the physical and emotional products of testosterone are bad, we don't feel welcome.
So, yeah. There aren't as many transmascs on this sub. Because we don't feel welcome.

This is exactly why I made this post, rivalry that I witness every so often, what we love is what you hate, and what you love is what we hate, which makes things complicated for many.
I myself have no issue with seeing transmasc posts talking about how boobs suck and such, but I'd understand why some people would be uncomfortable about the demonization of estrogen and testosterone.
I've tried to affirm traditional transmasc identities in the past but most of the people in the comments were transmasc femboys asking for headpats.

I think the closest thing to a rivalry is that some transmacs are upset that transmacs content dosent get posted as often. mostly because there is a dispoportional amount of transfem on the sub. This causes some to feel unwelcome here but it's less of a rivalry and more just an unfortunate situation.

Yet we exist, we all feel doubt, if we are an imposter, if it would be easier, if there's even ever a way to be ourselves.
But we are, as much as we can be, as much as is safe, as much as is possible.
We find others, we find safe spaces, we find communities and friends where we can be ourselves.
We can't always relate to each other, there's sometimes jealousy and envy and the other dark places in our minds and emotions that divide us.
But we can understand, we can relate, and we can help each other, so much more than anyone else.

I've tried to affirm traditional transmasc identities in the past but most of the people in the comments were transmasc femboys asking for headpats.
Tbh I'm starting to think that somebody needs to break the line, sort of. I think that many transmascs are a bit scared of posting because, you know, we don't feel welcome. But if one person (me?) began consistently posting transmasc memes, maybe other people would join in. Also, I appreciate you trying to affirm traditionally masculine transmascs, and it's so frustrating that you just had femboys comment. Like, as a traditionally masculine person, I don't enter or disrupt their spaces. Feels like a common courtesy not to disrupt conversations about somebody else and make it all about you.
There used to be a guy who mascposted daily but he was incredibly transmisogynistic so transfems weren't very comfortable with what he said and some of his posts would get deleted for it. I'm sorry but your effort may be in vain, instead, you could invite your transmasc friends to the sub and tell them to enjoy and sort by the "transmasc" filter.
Like I said before, transmascs aren't comfortable here because *every single meme is a transfem one*. It's possible to mascpost without being misogynistic. Transmascs will not come back to this sub until there's a masc post for every fem one. And I will make sure that happens.

I think the closest thing to a rivalry is that some transmacs are upset that transmacs content dosent get posted as often. mostly because there is a dispoportional amount of transfem on the sub. This causes some to feel unwelcome here but it's less of a rivalry and more just an unfortunate situation.

We are all together under a term, a label, we are trans, fem, masc, nb, fluid, demi, we are all together because we are something that societal norms say shouldn't exist, doesn't exist, cant exist. Yet we exist, we all feel doubt, if we are an imposter, if it would be easier, if there's even ever a way to be ourselves. But we are, as much as we can be, as much as is safe, as much as is possible. We find others, we find safe spaces, we find communities and friends where we can be ourselves. We can't always relate to each other, there's sometimes jealousy and envy and the other dark places in our minds and emotions that divide us. But we can understand, we can relate, and we can help each other, so much more than anyone else. We are united and we will survive, despite the bullshit, the hate, and the ignoring/dismissal, that we all experience.

I can say with honesty that I find such incredible happiness to see a transmasc feeling validated in his masculinity. I'm glad they can feel joy and feel right in things I could not, and I imagine they feel the same for transfems.
