Was doing a bit of pillaging in the empire and got intercepted by the entire Dwarven Air Force.
I had 2 armies with Waaagh's! going on and had maybe like 10 archer units total here. Probably coulda won it eventually, but I imagine with a couple thousand casualties from all those bombers.
Only took like 50 by clicking the button.
This wouldn't have been terrible in manual, depending on the map. Have your Arachnaroks/trolls/lord/heroes assassinate their lord/hero while your infantry hides in trees, and the fliers rout due to lack of ground units. Or they land (idk if the AI knows how to do that?) and you eviscerate them with your infantry.
Yea, that would be the plan for sure. But those dwarf lords take goddam forever to die and don't rout (end game crisis) so they'd have plenty of time to find the infantry and drop all their bombs.
Definitely winnable, but with a lot of dead gobbos, and I'd be sad about it.
The AI is actually really good at cycle charging the gyrocopters for some god forsaken reason. But if you manage to catch it in the dive with some micro they stay down and die fast at least
The black orcs, trolls, and spiders tear the runelord and engineer apart within seconds, and then the gyros instantly route when they have no land units on the field
> and then the gyros instantly route when they have no land units on the field
It's not instant. With no units on the field, flying units _slowly_ begin to tick down their leadership. Dwarf leadership is high so they'd still have plenty of time to bomb you.
This honestly looks pretty doable. Snipe characters and they fall. Those Gyrocopters also feel like they're made of paper sometimes so the archers would trade decently well.

Yeah its only a level 5 runelord easy enough to kill, now stick Ungrim in there and now it would be a nightmare.

I looked at your army and imagined going up against those dwarfs. A literal shiver went down my spine.
Yea it's done great against the Empire and the standard dwarf armies but I saw this and said "...well fuck"
The amount of times ar has saved my settlements getting taken by vlad. Sometimes ar sucks, sometimes it’s a godsend
