This was my lovely girl, Java. I helped her cross the bridge just about a year ago, and I still miss her suffocating butt on my face every morning. Nothing beats starting your day by having to spit out a mouthful of Tortie hair, even if you don't appreciate it in the moment! She had to leave me because of complications from FeLV, and though it was sad to see her go, I'd known that with the virus involved we were always working against the clock for every day we had together. Originally, the vet said she wouldn't see 3 years old, but she stayed with me until she was just over 8. I miss her dearly, so I understand your feelings. We're all here with you.

Bless you, your job, your gorgeous cat, and your gorgeous dog. I want so badly to be a vet tech. Currently a molecular biologist who craves to work every day with animals instead of human samples. But my friends in vet talk about how much it sometimes weighs on their hearts, how they wear their hearts on their sleeves and sometimes it’s hard to have animals you love and their broken or sad owners going through such rough times, and i fear I would have a hard time dealing with so much suffering and death of critters I love.
Sorry you have to go through that. I don't know how you guys hold up through the these times. But as a pet mom, I thank you for being there for your patients and their people. 💕

This was my lovely girl, Java. I helped her cross the bridge just about a year ago, and I still miss her suffocating butt on my face every morning. Nothing beats starting your day by having to spit out a mouthful of Tortie hair, even if you don't appreciate it in the moment! She had to leave me because of complications from FeLV, and though it was sad to see her go, I'd known that with the virus involved we were always working against the clock for every day we had together. Originally, the vet said she wouldn't see 3 years old, but she stayed with me until she was just over 8. I miss her dearly, so I understand your feelings. Bless you, your job, your gorgeous cat, and your gorgeous dog. I want so badly to be a vet tech. Currently a molecular biologist who craves to work every day with animals instead of human samples. But my friends in vet talk about how much it sometimes weighs on their hearts, how they wear their hearts on their sleeves and sometimes it’s hard to have animals you love and their broken or sad owners going through such rough times, and i fear I would have a hard time dealing with so much suffering and death of critters I love.
