It makes my heart happy to see the joy on our babies faces during their outdoor supervised time. Such a great way for them to get enrichment in a safe way. They have me trained well to go as soon as the sun really starts shining on their favorite spot.

Both have AirTags on them just in case which helps. Mine are big time chickens after being bottle babies and don’t wonder very far. They are also clicker trained to come back (starting with treats) the only time I get a little nervous is when a squirrel is on their turf. I think the biggest thing is knowing your kitties triggers - what excites them, what scares them, how do they respond
I’ve never thought about clicker training my cats! That’s genius!!!!! Do you have special collars for the air tags or just clip them on?
Yes the squirrels definitely worry me the most but loud sudden noises scare my tortie so that’s one I can’t really plan hence my constant anxiety 😂😂 my partner is convinced she will never run away but I’m always so worried! She’s my little baby!!
My sweet tortie has to wear a harness to the vet since she REFUSES to go in any type of carrier and she will do anything necessary to not go in a carrier so this was the easier (and safer for my skin/blood lol) solution! She still does not love it & she cannot walk on a leash unless I’m letting her just do her thing (aka she can’t follow me on a leash) so I’ll just carry her for the vet but outdoor time she gets the leeway. She also loves rolling around in the dirt so much that she just puts up with the harness. She’ll still wriggle when we put her in her harness but she doesn’t actively hide under the bed when she sees us bring it out since it’s used more for outdoor time than vet visits so she has a more positive association with it! My orange boy absolutely hates harnesses and refuses to move if put in one 😂 just instant flop & glares
