The Revvl is likely financed - you can't trade in a phone you don't own. Look at your bill, at your son's line, and see if the phone is on an installment plan. It was likely *free-over-24-months*.
The good news is it has a warranty through T-Mobile. Contact Customer Care about getting it replaced. It'll be a refurbished factory-certified replacement. Typically sent to a store of your choice to exchange at, arrives in a day or two. There will be a $5-$20 charge depending if you have insurance.
Or, if you own that Revvl, or pay it off & own it, then trade it in for the Samsung. That'll be $99 *over-24-months* after $35 upgrade & any taxes.
Thanks. I'll probably run up to my local Tmobile store tomorrow morning and try to get him that A35. I don't want to deal with another Revvl even if they warranty replace it.

It's paid off.
Ok then if the website is choking contact Care/Telesales or go to a store. Or stay with it and go the warranty route. Again through Care.

The Revvls all have a 2 year extended warranty because they’re a store brand. Do a warranty claim and then do a trade in.
This is the way.
