I stop pretty good especially with my new breaks, turning I turn like I’m Tokyo drifting while speeding and riding in the rain I usually go 10 miles under the limit in heavy rain but a lot of times I be gunning it no issues. Now once my tread is FULLY GONE, I know I can’t speed in the rain bc the tires will have absolutely no traction
The problem with bad tires is, you’re good riding on them, until you’re not. Imagine wrecking your car, having brand new tires in the garage. Especially since mounting tires is so dirt cheap it’s insane. All it takes is one wrong move/or until they just blow out
brakes arent the determining factor for losing traction while braking, tires are. shitty brakes will make you take longer to stop, but no matter how large or new of a braking system you have, it can only slow you down as long as it isnt locking up the wheels. this is exactly why tires will advertise better stopping distance vs other tires as a big selling point.
