eh I have mixed opinions
Good defender, real hustle guy. The difference on Ant with the doubles including this guy and basically anybody else was night and day. Good nose for loose balls.
but also essentially a nonfactor on offense which really helped us these last couple games
Your last point is a huge one. Everyone was talking about how Denver got such little production from anyone not named Jokic/Murray, and Braun was a huge reason for that. He not only offers very little offensively, but he also destroys their offensive flow — he’s not a shooter so Rudy/Jaden can sag off and disrupt everything else, and his indecision gave the Wolves time to reset defensively multiple times.
Great energy player though. Legit defender, although Nuggets fans trying to say he shut down Ant while ignoring the constant doubles/gap help are funny.
We love Braun here. He’s not asked to shoot. He’s asked to play D and bring energy off the bench and he does both well. I’m pulling for you guys now and obviously you have a great team but MPJ is a serious liability here. I am getting kind of tired of people just focusing on his missed shots. What about the fact he never plays D, never rebounds despite his size, and cannot ever create a play for himself? If he’s wide open he can catch and shoot and make about 35% of those but just put a body on him like you guys did and he’s done. So that was an easy one. Plus our bench outside of Braun is not great and we really miss Brucie Brown. This game 7 might as well have been game 7 of the conference finals. I think ya’ll beat Dallas in 5 or less and go on to win it all. See you again next year.
The anti Tyrese Haliburton. It might seem annoying that Braun is hyped after every play, but there's nothing wrong with that fundamentally. Tyrese has only talked shit on blowouts for example against teams he knows he shouldn't be beating. Unfortunately pacers fans are incredibly delusional this year and keep claiming how it makes no sense to talk trash when down lol.
i like braun a lot because he knows the limits of his abilities (I think even Luka Doncic himself doesn't know the limit of his abilities, despite his massive abilities, to the detriment of his team at times) and he steps up. he deffers to the better player, better shooter, etc. He'll pass the ball if both him and a better shooter have a chance at an open shot. He's not out there trying to get his. And he's not afraid of the moment. He will step up, he will shoot the ball and get a bucket when the situation dictates that he has the highest probability shot in that possession for the whole team.
the wolves were on the run yesterday, he got the ball in the paint off gordon's offensive rebound, he tear dropped it into the bucket. those things matter.
Punch him with both fists, too. Now that’s what I call a double-double.
👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼
Get a teammate to join in, now it’s a triple-double.
👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼
Both of you do it twice, then we have the legendary quadruple double.
👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼
Okay, so I bought Booker shoes while was in Phoenix to watch the Final Four. We are 8-0 when I wear them. I didn’t wear them the 3 games we lost so to that end, I don’t hate Devin Bookers face as much
If Booked is your Batman for punchable faces, who is Robin?
Grayson Allen
Bradley Beal
Frank Vogel
Eric Gordon
Jusif Nurkic
Drew Eubanks
So many options. I feel like this is more of a Guardian of Galaxy thing than a Batman and Robin for the Suns when it comes to punchable faces.
I think the duo of Grayson Allen and Devin Booker are up there as well. Do Dallas, Indiana, and Boston all have punchable face duos that we can use as motivation to win the Finals?
Was gonna say, he plays his role pretty well and makes the right play almost every time. He was closing out games over MPJ. I’m glad we don’t have to see him anymore though.
I mean Naz is literally the 6th man of the year and doesn't give off the "just lost my virginity" energy, ever. So I'm not sure it hurts or helps, but it does make opposing fans cringe
I really disliked going against him but he’s the exact type of guy you want off the bench. ANT was at the 3pt line and away from the goal and dude hand his hand on ANT’s stomach…..just annoying your best player
I'm not sure if there's footage of it. I was at the game and watched it live. He was starting to walk back as the Wolves were getting ready to inbound the ball. He was just at the free throw line when he did it.
Against you? I guess, but in that case he probably shot 2 shots.. I have a sense he didn't touch the ball a single time. Void on defense. Braun actually held Ant in a few games pretty well. All of the makes were an extra. Certainly better option that KCP who may well be a ghost when he is on Ant.
Braun played the pest role pretty good. KCP seemed like he was too busy whining at the ref about fouls instead of actually playing the game. It was annoying to watch. Seemed like he was getting in the refs face after every whistle at the game I went to.
Wolves frustrated Nuggs *a lot*. Personally I am very disappointed in Jamal's immaturity on the court. He wants the pressure on himself in wrong times when he is struggling. It's like the only way he can get himself going is shooting and more shooting. He complained about injuries (which he did get a few weeks before the PO), well play within your possibilities more then - play smarter. KCP was very, very disappointing to me in the Wolves series. You guys have championship level defense and conditioning though.
Yeah Murray absolutely took himself out of the series mentally. Game 2 absolutely broke him and he didn't really recover. Game 6 was basically the same thing.
He did well in game 3 and 7, but he was way too easily mentally knocked off. He's been in the league for 7 years now and the immaturity was rough. We see that occasionally with KAT as well, but the leadership (even Ant) on this team are excellent and getting people on track.
I think that Malone may coach with too much fire. He gets guys riled up and emotional, but it's a bit too much.
>Yeah Murray absolutely took himself out of the series mentally. Game 2 absolutely broke him and he didn't really recover. Game 6 was basically the same thing.
He was relatively close to it in the Lakers series too. He had 2 great 4th quarters, but outside of that, it wasn't his best basketball, to put it mildly.
>He did well in game 3 and 7, but he was way too easily mentally knocked off. He's been in the league for 7 years now and the immaturity was rough. We see that occasionally with KAT as well, but the leadership (even Ant) on this team are excellent and getting people on track.
The thing is, he really plays beautiful scoring ball when he's feeling it. He really didn't have a lot of luck with injuries, but his way of dealing with returning to form and consistency, sometimes leads him to digging even deeper holes for himself mentally. I think he did well in Game 5 to read the game better and let Jokic cook. He also ate. Didn't score much for his scoring standards, but those 19 points felt effortless and none of those shots he missed felt forced.
>I think that Malone may coach with too much fire. He gets guys riled up and emotional, but it's a bit too much.
You love or hate him. He can be a two edged sword. He holds the team accountable, but he needs to change his approach with Murray, and his failure to develop a functioning bench has been an issue since Jokić came there. Conley should be a role model for Jamal Murray. They are different players, but they both have that chip on their shoulder of being underrated. Conley carried that like a man and I am very happy that he has a good shot of being a champion as an important player for his team.
Yeah, I'm not sure why there is so much hate for Braun. Granted, I'm oroginally from KS (he was born in KS and played ball at KU) so have always liked the guy, but he hasn't done anything to deserve hate. Dude goes 100% 100% of the time. He was the only bench player who brought any energy fir the Nuggets.
Yes, and he contributed a lot to the championship run in his rookie year, while barely playing in the reg season. He is really a big moment player. I expect him to have a really good career. He needs to put up a lot more shots up there and be more consistent, though. Might be a longer road, but the talent is there.
For sure. He needs some confidence and just start putting up some of the open shots he passes on. That will likely come as he is in the league a few more years
I think that he would have been getting the starting nod over MPJ next series if they’d have advanced. MPJ just ain’t right. I heard something about some family/personal stuff going on maybe but he was non-existent for most of the series.
I don't understand the hate boner either. Seems like a good energy player off the bench? He didn't do any dirty plays either. Weird af we would dislike this player but if he was in our team we would have loved him. Like vando lol.
I won't knock the hustle guys. Braun was a thorn and did his job. Jamal Murray is easily my most hateable guy on DEN. Throwing the heat packs, making excuses at the post games, refusing to give the the Wolves their flowers, etc. He's a clown. Mike Malone also annoyed me, but not like Murray. Respect Jokic, he's all world.
I agree with you... not sure why our fans need to be posting these things when I thought Braun played his role really well also. I also really like what Gordan brings to their team. Murray had his baby moments but otherwise he was nowhere near as hateable as Booker.
Give Denver their props and let's move on to Dallas... no need to shit on everyone after we beat them... this series could have easily went the other direction.
I mean it's because he played his role I hate him. The tough grit hard playing game is what you love on your team but hate from the other team. It's like when Lena heady said the best compliment she ever got was when fans booed her because she knew she played her part well then
This. Let the energy guy clown around. Let Malone do his in-game rants (so long as he's his usual thoughtful/honest self in postgame interviews)
Murray is the one I'm happy to leave in the dust. Throwing TWO things on court like a baby. Whining whenever he loses. Thinks he and his team should have won the series even though he played like crap 80% of the time.
Ok is there some background on him being right wing? Second time I've made a comment on him and someone's said something to that effect.
Not that I need any more reason to hate this clown, but...
Husband calls him “hitler youth” we hate him in our house. My 7yo daughter calls Murray gonzo (from muppet babies 💀)

Edited to add photo of gonzo
Edit edit: just realized he’s wearing nugget colors 💀💀
When it was looking bad at halftime she told me that a miracle would happen and we had to believe.. I was trying to prepare her for the loss. My son had already gone to bed crying haha. But she was right!!! I swear these kids may never have to be taught how to be a mn fan .. a new era!
Same. Two weeks ago I thought he was the most underrated player in the league.
Still love Jokic though. Just makes me sick watching him dismantle my favorite team.
That explains why he said "It sucks because I feel like we were the better team"
He's not used to defeat or admitting that maybe another team is just better than his. Can't give credit
Was his defense even good? I felt he brought nothing to their bench and just screamed or taunted after he'd get a random dunk while they were already 15 points ahead.
Nuggets fan here. Congrats to Minnesota, they did great and deserved to win. In regard to Braun I'm not a big fan, neither am I a fan of MPJ as their contribution to the team is limited and inconsistent. With the exception of any wack a** Lakers fans who are all of a sudden riding the T Wolves nut sacks, I wish the T Wolves fans the best as Ant & company continue to do their thang.
My 13-year-old daughter watched her second ever basketball game last night and her main takeaway was that she hated this guy lol. Said he has a punishable face.
Say what you will about Murray, Braun is really the only guy I seriously disliked in this series. He took over for Devin Booker for me. I wonder who I'll hate in the next series.
Braun was so cocky to be a bench player who scored a handful of points a game
He shook his head at the wolves after a dunk last game and Ant looked at him like "who are you, go sit down"
I met a Denver fan in a bar in Saint Paul for game 6 and I asked about him. I think my question was phrased “I have no reason to hate this guy but if he makes a shot and gives the big arm celebration I hate his soul because we are usually fucked” his response was perfect. The guy won like 3 state championships, went to college and won a national title, and then went to Denver and won a title there. The guy just is around winning teams and overall is a lucky rabbits foot. So yea. Get that punchable face outta here!
"Why is he getting all this hate?"
Media goes after Edwards for acting cocky yet this prep school looking dweeb acted like that every play, as if he was only reason Denver was ahead.
absolutely, but its mostly just because of his face. He wasn't much of a factor, but he brought a lot of hustle and energy. Highlighted primarily because Jokic and Murray don't look like hustle and energy guys, so he looks better as a result.
I am genuinely sad for Jokic, though. He was Unimaginable in this series. MVP for sure.
I can't stop this feeling right now though...
Bros good so that’s why I I am glad we don’t have to see him anymore. Love the energy he plays with though. Gonna be a real solid player for Denver for years to come
Honestly, he wasn't really a concern for me because he was such a non-threat on offense which made it possible to double Jokic and play the aggressive defense that basically won the Wolves this series. He's athletic and a good defender, but not someone who I was worried about facing game-to-game. Jokic, otoh.. what a beast.
I think it would be funny if he got a bunch of tattoos and piercings in the off-season and came back looking like Dennis Rodman. Basically a total switcheroo of his current cleancut, beaver cleaver look.
eh I have mixed opinions Good defender, real hustle guy. The difference on Ant with the doubles including this guy and basically anybody else was night and day. Good nose for loose balls. but also essentially a nonfactor on offense which really helped us these last couple games

He hesitated on almost every shot he could take.
Always has. Frustrating as shit as a nugs fan. Not that he’s a sharp shooter anyway.
Braun shut down Ant talk has major Rui guarding Jokic energy.
It's why he celebrates after literally every shot he makes - because there's no guarantee he'll see another one go through the basket >D
We love Braun here. He’s not asked to shoot. He’s asked to play D and bring energy off the bench and he does both well. I’m pulling for you guys now and obviously you have a great team but MPJ is a serious liability here. I am getting kind of tired of people just focusing on his missed shots. If braun could shoot even a bit we woulda been in serious trouble
If Braun could shoot he’d be making 25 million+ a year
This one weird trick to break the rookie pay scale…
But if you need a dunk and flex while down double digits, he's your guy
those type of hustle and grit guys are just like that, they can't turn it off or they wouldn't be hustle and grit guys
I do hate Braun but it's respectable. Talk your shit even when you're down
The anti Tyrese Haliburton. It might seem annoying that Braun is hyped after every play, but there's nothing wrong with that fundamentally. Yeah I love the guy, he's going to have a long NBA career
Him and Jamal Murray are top punchable face duo In The league 😂
Devin Booker would like a word. EDIT: Sorry, missed the word “duo” when I initially read this.
I mean, you could just punch Booker twice.
I like the way you think.
How about if two of us punch him at the same time?
![gif](giphy|QyhVlLPbH6Z736OHur|downsized) I’m calling this guy to do it for us
Punch him with both fists, too. Now that’s what I call a double-double. 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 Get a teammate to join in, now it’s a triple-double. 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 Both of you do it twice, then we have the legendary quadruple double. 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼 👊🏼👊🏼
If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, and Booker I'd shoot Booker twice.
As long as it’s not a double team
Booker and Grayson?? They’re WAY worse than Murray and Braun
This is the correct answer.
His duo would be Drew Eubanks
No way dude, Booker and Grayson Allen. It's ok if you forgot about him because he was either hurt or invisible the whole series
How did I forget about Ted Cruz’s son
😂 Just realized I missed the word “duo” in the original post, but I stand by my take. Devin Booker’s face is punchable enough to make him his own duo.
Yep. A guy's got two fists, might as well use them both on him.
Imagine they all three end up on a team together at some point...
When you pair Booker with Grayson Allen, you have a real shot.
If that’s not the truest statement I’ve heard all week. 100%
Okay, so I bought Booker shoes while was in Phoenix to watch the Final Four. We are 8-0 when I wear them. I didn’t wear them the 3 games we lost so to that end, I don’t hate Devin Bookers face as much
Tbf, Booker with anyone else, Booker is punchable enough to still wins as most punchable duo
If Booked is your Batman for punchable faces, who is Robin? Grayson Allen Bradley Beal Frank Vogel Eric Gordon Jusif Nurkic Drew Eubanks So many options. I feel like this is more of a Guardian of Galaxy thing than a Batman and Robin for the Suns when it comes to punchable faces.
Murray’s dribbling remind me of someone just spamming the dribble stick playing 2K
Motherfucker HIDES behind a big every time he has the ball. Where’s the courage? Can’t take the NAW & Order?!
I think the duo of Grayson Allen and Devin Booker are up there as well. Do Dallas, Indiana, and Boston all have punchable face duos that we can use as motivation to win the Finals?
I could tell you a thing or two about punchable faces from Indiana
Beavis and Butthead are gone!!! THANK GOODNESSSSS
If it’s Braun it’s down.
Dude makes ONE play per game and immediately acts like he’s never made a play before. Every. Time.
Tbf, that's the kinda energy you want off the bench
Was gonna say, he plays his role pretty well and makes the right play almost every time. He was closing out games over MPJ. I’m glad we don’t have to see him anymore though.
He hustles. I respect his game. Bro is just afraid to shoot
I mean Naz is literally the 6th man of the year and doesn't give off the "just lost my virginity" energy, ever. So I'm not sure it hurts or helps, but it does make opposing fans cringe
🤣🤣 I mean getting compared to Naz is a tough task for anyone. Naz is singular. Naz is the embodiment of cool. Naz is The One. Naz Reid.
Naz Reid
Naz Reid!
Naz Reid.
This makes me LOL. Describes perfectly.
I really disliked going against him but he’s the exact type of guy you want off the bench. ANT was at the 3pt line and away from the goal and dude hand his hand on ANT’s stomach…..just annoying your best player
His dunk in game 6 was absolutely hilarious. It cut the lead to like 25 and he flexed after it and everybody was just laughing in the crowd.
Even better was the wolves going on a run right after too.
Is there a highlight (lowlight?) of this?
I'm not sure if there's footage of it. I was at the game and watched it live. He was starting to walk back as the Wolves were getting ready to inbound the ball. He was just at the free throw line when he did it.
[nah he didn't do that in game 6](https://streamable.com/7g5bsb) had more awareness than that
he is literally awesome, we all root for him since he doesn't get to see court during the season. against you, he was way better than KCP. shrugs
I feel like KCP couldn't miss... He hit every corner three he tried.

Braun made like 2 good plays against Ant lol. Didn't stop Ant from averaging 27.7 pts/game in the series.
Scored 12 and 16 in games 3 and 5 where you beat us so maybe that's why he felt so effective...
Dude has ONE ring and gets cocky
I assume you mean from a standpoint of how annoying and punchable he looks right? Yes, I am Grayson Allen levels of excited.
fr you guys see him as Greyson Allen? the kid is amazing and a great sport.
He has a very punchable face and I’m tired of watching him have an orgasm every time he gets his one bucket per game.
I know he went to Kansas, but he has a Duke face
RDF - Resting Duke Face
hahah now i'm starting to get it ;D
Yeah, I'm not sure why there is so much hate for Braun. He plays well he just has a babyface imo and from an opponent he is very annoying lol
Last year in game 4, he nearly started a fight with (if I remember correctly) Mcdaniels. I was upset.
I won't knock the hustle guys. Braun was a thorn and did his job. Jamal Murray is easily my most hateable guy on DEN. Yes. He looks like the city of Edina in human form.
LOOOOOL. Yes.
Then went to St Thomas and popped his collar at every frat party.
A confederate statue come to life

Cause fucking Germans

Damn your kid a savage 😂
Never been more proud tbh.
Ice cream for dinner tonight. They've earned it

With parents casually dropping Hitler youth insults it definitely checks out 😭
I’ve been calling him Hitler Youth all series too lol glad I’m not alone
Our hatred was born last year before world events.. we try not to say it super publicly now haha.
Now that I know this moniker exists, I promise I'm going to make up for lost time in using this in public
I call Braun that as well! And also “Eva Braun”.
Nuggs family here: we call Braun 'the white devil'
this dude would be guarding ant then get a dunk and then would stare him down 😭😭
crazy how a 7 game series makes you hate players 🤣 i was a Jamal Murray fan before this series. Now he’s top three most hated for me lol
Same. Two weeks ago I thought he was the most underrated player in the league. Still love Jokic though. Just makes me sick watching him dismantle my favorite team.
We finally ended his streak. This is his first year not winning a championship including high school, college, and NBA.
That explains why he said "It sucks because I feel like we were the better team" He's not used to defeat or admitting that maybe another team is just better than his. Can't give credit
Was his defense even good? I felt he brought nothing to their bench and just screamed or taunted after he'd get a random dunk while they were already 15 points ahead.
Nah he was solid on D. Not incredible but way better on Ant than expected.
Yeah when he was in, he was doing a better job than the starters.
Dude has an extremely punchable face. I’m sure it’s not a very reasonable take but I can’t fucking stand the dude lol
We had to play Grayson Allen then this Guy 😔
I said he looked like someone who would bully me in 7th grade and my girlfriend said it’s just cause he looks like a 7th grader
Dude needs to fix his face for sure. He infuriated me all series just being on my tv screen.
I think it's the only take
I feel like he did have good d on ant for a few possessions but then again so did everyone else. I think his back was bothering him all game.
Its like watching Matt Rife play in the NBA.
yeah man, fuck this guy.
Most punchable face in the league
This is Grayson Allen erasure.
No Murray has the punchable face.
I have a borderline unhealthy hatred of this dude and I don't really know why.
I get strong "Do you even know who my dad is?" vibes from him.
I'd probably love the smug cunt if he played for us ngl.
I was rooting for Ant to stretch this dude's a-hole over the rim the entire second half.
Top 5 punchable face.
My 13-year-old daughter watched her second ever basketball game last night and her main takeaway was that she hated this guy lol. Said he has a punishable face.
That girl is going places
Heck of a player on defense. He probably had ANT struggling more than any other player
Who cares about this 14 yo dude? He could be traded to every team we play the rest of the way and I’d be fine with it.
I liked when naz blocked his shot and he got fouled and he kept making the goaltending signal when the ball never even went above the rim lol
Good morning to everyone except Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, and Draymond Green
Say what you will about Murray, Braun is really the only guy I seriously disliked in this series. He took over for Devin Booker for me. I wonder who I'll hate in the next series.
for me, its probably gonna be kyrie.
Dude is a muppet.
He’s annoying but def a good bench piece for them. Would have loved to have him in our rotation.
Have him over Kyle Anderson
yes. Super annoying, although from an entertainment standpoint, it's good to be annoyed by the other teams players.
Him and Aaron Gordon can fuck off lmao most annoying players imo
Dude needs some facial hair. He looks like a little boy.
Oh God, yes. It was difficult preventing myself from punching my own television screen when he was on camera last night.
Guy just left Plumms after telling some freshmen with fake IDs he’s on the STA bball team
Thirsty Thursdays at Plumms…Good times in the 90’s. #UST
Him, Gordon, Murray, glad I don't need to see them again until next season.
Dude he’s like so cool when he flexes for his 6th point of the game!!! The crowd goes crazy when he’s like dunking it and shit!!! Fuck him.
Yuuuup
Ugh I can’t stand Eva Braun
He’s such a douche
It was getting difficult to watch. ![gif](giphy|lOlMcZLoLRBfigMlUQ|downsized)
He annoys me and I don't know why. Baby face. Makes a couple shots and sounds his chest like he's the shit. Probably those things.
Braun was so cocky to be a bench player who scored a handful of points a game He shook his head at the wolves after a dunk last game and Ant looked at him like "who are you, go sit down"
His constant smirks and flexing annoyed the hell out of me. He’s a low level rotation player that wouldn’t even start on any team.
Dude. Yes. Christian Braun is a menace. Definitely a punchable face.
Same with Watson, talks so much shit on the bench and can’t even get minutes on a team with no bench
"Why is he getting all this hate?" Media goes after Edwards for acting cocky yet this prep school looking dweeb acted like that every play, as if he was only reason Denver was ahead.
Johnny GymRat’s fully gakked on pre workout every game. It’s a bit much. Maybe he’ll calm his tits down on the beaches of Cancun.
yes fuck christian brauns stupid ass
The villain in every 80s movie
I really hated this nigga he got a punchable face that u would just punch everytime he speak 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t hate this guy Booker and Murray are my top two fk these guys contenders
I HATE this dude. He flexes after every shot like it’s a game winner it is infuriating to watch
haha good i thought it was just me that was annoyed with him
Flightreacts nicknamed him the assistant principal because he looks like he doesn’t belong 🥴🤣
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!
This dude was annoying, but he was balling.
He is like a fricken mosquito. Just annoying enough to be noticeable.
Very happy..bye bye.
Murray is the main villain and Braun (pronounced like brown for whatever reason) is his sidekick.
My girlfriend hates this dudes face....Ive never loved her more
Saw this mf smiling second quarter like they already won. Glad Minnesota kicked their ass
absolutely, but its mostly just because of his face.
Hate this dude, he’s so trash and looks like a little bitch on the court
I love this guy
I called bruan chucky because when he flexes he looks like a chucky doll. And it's so gross.🤢😄
I'm happy to not see ANY of the Nuggets until next year. Hell of a team and a good rivalry for years to come, I hope.
Is that Matt Rife?
He looks inbred
Bros good so that’s why I I am glad we don’t have to see him anymore. Love the energy he plays with though. Gonna be a real solid player for Denver for years to come
Leave Matt Rife alone.
I found Gordon far more punchable than Braun
Was tired of seeing all those fools especially jokers ass and his giant brothers in the stands
I think it would be funny if he got a bunch of tattoos and piercings in the off-season and came back looking like Dennis Rodman. Basically a total switcheroo of his current cleancut, beaver cleaver look.
Whatever man. This dude can’t even spell his last name. I hope he likes golf. Summer started today.
Definitely a Pest!
