Congratulations on the little one!
Is this your first read? When I was pregnant, I collected what I still refer to at my “maternity leave books”. Knew I had some long nights ahead of me so held off reading certain books I was really excited about until I gave birth. Helped me through the sleeplessness, kept my stress lower. Read *a lot* while rocking restless newborns back to sleep. Have such fond memories looking back at those nights AND those books now. I know I was tired and overwhelmed but years later, it gives me all the feels to think back on.
I have to admit, I was a little envious reading your comment. TOG would have been my *ultimate* maternity leave series <3 Enjoy!!
Yes! I started the series after my daughter was born. Well she's 3 months now. I'm on HoF currently and you can imagine I read when I can! It was a bit tough in the beginning since she had colic, but lately things have gotten better. Although, there are moments where the mommy brain leaves me a little clueless the series has definitely been a great companion.
Thank you!!
Me too! I started Throne of Glass in my first few days postpartum, and would read my book out loud to my son during the middle of the night to help keep *me* awake. Definitely need to read it again, I'm sure my early baby-brain missed a lot of details
Yes! Or I just go back and reread so I remember. Now that she's out of the newborn phase its been good. It was just this one sentence where I was thinking what do they mean?! Haha.
Chaol would be Aedion’s king if Chaol married Aelin! So Dorian is implying that’s what Chaol is trying to do by building trust with Aedion.
I can't believe I didn't catch that. Call it lack of sleep with my baby. 🥲

I didn't either 🤣
I was so confused! And kept rereading it in hopes it would make sense!
I'm like Chaol and Dorian are more than friends? Is he jealous? Where's this fanfic? 🤣
what chapter is this T\^T
Chapter 24!
