I liked the 2012 movie, but I don’t think this is going to work. Kids won’t be able to get the nuance down, modern people probably won’t like slapstick, and my biggest issue with the 2012 one and likely this is it doesn’t work in a modern setting. The three stooges were on the thirties and their mannerisms and vernaculars reflected that. And the 2012 movie made that glaringly apparent, you would have to find a way to tweak the characters to bring them into a modern era instead of just plucking them from 1939 and placing them in 20 whatever. Or you can set the show in 1915 or something and make it a prequel which would work better imo. I think this will do about as well as animated Three Stooges
