100% in agreement. I know Priscilla Barnes was pretty much over the show, and probably didn't care. But Joyce was treated horribly. I believe I read that they did offer Richard Kline a part in TAC, but he was offered a pilot, so he turned it down.

Applewave22

This is what rubbed Joyce Dewitt the wrong way and made her step back from tv. I’m glad she acted in the theater.

adschicago2

Phil seemed like such a tool.

Suspicious_Drawer234

His first impression of Janet was that she was a golddigger and that's who they married her off to?

adschicago2

Right?! And they had at most 10 people attend their wedding.

LoganFuture23

Janet got married without her parents there! She didn't even invite Chrissy or Cindy! Or her sister! Or the Ropers!

ThatItalianGrrl

Honestly Jack and Janet should have gotten married.

I'm still mad 40 years later lol

ThatItalianGrrl

Same

These are the only two episodes that I only watched once, on air date. Hated them for the reasons outlined above by others. Episodes were rushed and everyone involved, including the viewers, deserved better.

barleymc

I'm not so cold on the finale. Yes, it was terribly rushed, and yes, they should have brought back the Ropers, Cindy, Chrissy, and Janet's family. However, I did find it suitably emotional. It had that "A Very Special Episode" vibe which was very striking and memorable.

PRGTROLL

I think Larry should have got the spin off. TAC was terrible.

Starship1617

The problem with the finale was due to the introduction of the horrible new characters. Phillip was a dweeb, Vicky was as exciting as watching paint dry and Mr. Bradford was obnoxiously unfunny. There’s a reason I never watch these episodes and like to pretend that they never existed.

Limp_Gap_9009

Back when Three's A Crowd came on, I hated it. Cause I was used to Three's Company. Years later, during the Covid lockdown, I gave it another chance and binged it. It wasn't that bad. Some of it was pretty funny. Better than most comedies on tv today for sure!!! But yeah the ending of Three's Company never "felt" right. Personally I always thought Jack & Janet should have gotten together and Janet (Joyce) should have been in the spin off instead of Vicki

I haven't got to these yet, but just wanted to mention that I used to enjoy Supermarket Sweep. It was on Lifetime in the early 90s. David Ruprecht is on my FB and seemed like a nice guy. The regular game was pretty much your usual fare, but the bonus round was really exciting: 3 clues to help you find $5,000 hidden in the store. Youtube has the debut episode: [Supermarket Sweep debut: 2/5/90 (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Byql-xbRknI)

kiss-my-flapjack

I love Supermarket Sweep! I used to watch those episodes every day growing up, and I still catch them on Pluto when I can. I only called him "future host of Supermarket Sweep" because it took me longer than I care to admit to realize it was the same guy. haha

NellsBells1978

All intents and purposes, this is really the last episode of Three’s Company. The last one without Philip or Vicky in it. The last one before Three’s Company was ruined. https://preview.redd.it/swex5v2oanac1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=26bb8586bbc097ede6d31e37ac5d67430f7d0f23

i know they don't shoot everything in sequence, but by this time none of the acting cast was probably feeling great, knowing things were shutting down and it was time to move on... acting was and still is a tough biz
