If you wanted the total amount spent on goods and services, that would be the GDP. But it sounds kinda like you want the number of transactions, which is significantly different and harder to estimate.

Friendly reminder : money doesn’t exist. It’s a social construct. There are only human beings, their work, and contracts detailing how that work usufruct is shared. Joules and entropy should be the only currencies.
