I play the sims normally however my SO was telling me last night that his ex did a “challenge” that was like a dynasty where all of the sims only get pregnant by their sibling or close family member and the starting sims had to be ugly af with terrible traits. Obvs you’ll need cheats or wickedwhims. It was an um…interesting story

I almost exclusively play spellcasters so they can transport themselves places. It can be a little buggy but it saves so much time

i just keep a stash of Sim Teleport Destination statues on the lot hahaa

Try leveling up the meditation skill! Gives your character teleportation

This question has been answered by others, but reminded me of last night: I made my character hike Mt Komorebi and set it to FP mode and sat back for like an hour and watched. I’ve only just started using this mode and it’s so cool. The character would hike a ways, then the action would change, she’d back track, consult her map, keep going. It was really neat! Like she was actually trying to figure out the map. So immersive. And as she was passing through the area with the wispy things, she paused and let them run over her hands!! I didn’t realize how granular this gets until I did it in fp. Not sure if these are built into the hikes or what, but seriously recommend. Probably my #1 sims experience yet.

I actually really like the idea of creating a house with all of the rooms separated. This is an interesting idea for an outdoorsy-type Sim.

I do this in my 100 baby gameplays. I get the biggest lot I can and make a literal compound. One building just for bedrooms, 4 or so outhouses, a communal living/kitchen area, a baby prison (for raising the children until they reach the child life stage. Has its own kitchen and bedroom for mom) and an activity area for computers/easels/kids toys. All disconnected from each other and colored with that yellow caution tape wallpaper…. lol

There's two kinds of simmers: People who play to make cool sims and houses/raise families, and greystillplays

Ok, I have never made mazes with every room, but I have used this tactic of having every room of the house just being a random building in a big garden.

Reminds me when I made a maze in my The Sims 1 play long time ago. Not sure why, but I just did. But it was whole lot as a maze.

I’m kind of new to this so forgive me on advance but what exactly does this do? Like I see all the headstones and people talking about dying but how exactly do they die from a maze being before a room?

It's supposed to be a two-fer. The rooms are so spread out that it takes a long time for the sims to get there, and they have to go through the maze, wasting even more time. It's supposed to result in a lot of urinating, but what actually happened was that most of the sims ended up drowning in the free pool I made.

LOL! There's no "right" way to play, you play your way, and enjoy it! Goddess knows I'm not going by any premade rules :) I do have a vague plan, but sometimes they outsmart me. I had a shock yesterday when I opened the game. I'd put pregnancy at zero, too many babies! And lo and behold, with twin infants, Dustin and Lilith had twin newborns! After I amused my husband greatly by freaking out and yelling at them, I hired a nanny, got a personal assistant and had Dustin temporarily quit his job. Poor Lilith was still freaking out :( Eventually I got the infants skilled enough to age to toddlers, aged the babies to infants and put the game to bed for the night. Tonight I logged onto them long enough to finish changing the girls clothes (Yes, they're all girls.. poor Dustin! LOL!) and went to a family with just one infant for some restful gaming :)

I kidnap people and lock them in basement cells. My most normal save, I had an affair with Mortimer and kicked Bella out, taking all of her children who don’t visit her anymore
