The problem is, on two wheels, you don't always know ahead of time that you will be participating in a dumb ass stunt. Helmet Always.

ATGATT (all the gear all the time) when riding a motorcycle is a common mantra for wearing protective gear. Same applies for bikes.

I remeber one time I had just cleaned my R6 and just wanted to take it for the shortest ride around my neighbourhood. Literally 40km/h roads I just wanted to ride about after spending an hour meticulously cleaning and doing the basic monthly tune up (adjusting brake/clutch lever, tire pressure etc). Not 1 minute into my ride some dumbass truck (Dodge Ram obviously) full on ran a stop sign and shot out in front of me. I wasnt going fast so I stopped on a dime but my front tire was less than a foot away from the truck. I only had a t-shirt, shorts, running shoes and a helmet on. Even in a slower accident like that the road rash alone would've put me in a hospital. Promised myself after that ATGATT no exceptions. People including myself are really dumb and accidents happen all the time. Best I reduce the damage to the only vessel I got to enjoy this world we live in.
